Mika was the total star of Eurovision- he kept the whole show together - he can speak several languages fluently was gracious charming witty / he should be brought back every year - he was the missing x factor Eurovision needs

Well... it was more probably because Tiktok was the main sponsor of this year's Eurovision, so I don't know if he really had a choice. But it was still dun to see

EDIT: After some consideration and listening to the other performers, I'd say this was probably the best Eurovision we got in awhile.

People can criticize a lot of things done by the Italian organisation, BUT I dare to deny it was one of the best interval acts Eurovision pulled out 🙌
beyond the kinetic sun what can you dispute? (that worked) are the lights missing? missing the stage? missing the ledwalls? are the cameras in sd? this edition is much richer and more innovative than this year's edition which seems to come out of 2002!

What I'm saying is that performing with technical support or backing is still a skill that someone can be good or bad at, and Mika is good at that skill. This is actually the first time I’ve seen him sing and when he sings, he seems way different to when he is hosting. Its like a completely different person.
I've been a fan since grace kelly and have seen him irl twice and can confirm this is definitely a truer representation of him- he's usually so energetic and goofy most of the time I'm not quite sure why he's been so awkward in his time as host 🤣

In 2016 and 2017 Mika made a show in several evenings for the main Italian TV RAI - This Evening CasaMika (Mika’s house) where he presented and performed. I remember that they were extraordinary evenings, a true 360 ° artist.

Mika is one of those once in a generation talents that somehow manages to slip through the cracks. But when you see him perform you're reminded of just how special he is as an artist.

Why do people try to take down Eurovision with comparisons like this when Eurovision fans don't pretend to have these crazy expectations. It's cool when we get an ABBA or Maneskin but, that's not realistic given the music industry doesn't need Eurovision to make stars. A lot of Eurovision stars do it for fun and have completely different day jobs.

If you like his voice you should listen to the concerts he does at the opera, there's just his voice and the orchestra, no dancing, no special effects, his voice is just so powerful alone.

When I discovered that Mika was hosting Tuesday evening, I had to Google his name right away to check if it was THE Mika. I was so excited to realize it was and since I was so impatient to see Mika perform all week. I kept asking those around when Mika comes on. And when he did I was jumping happily and totally in love with every single song and performance done. I cried and sang along to "Happy Ending". That medley was so accurately the soundtrack to my 2019 if I could make one today. In order and everything. Brilliantly done, Mika! ❤❤

It's been so many years that a brittish guy has presented Eurovision, yes he was born in Lebanon, but moved to UK at a very young age and got citizenship in the UK, which is where his accent is from, he studied here and released his albums here, which are insane!!!!....I feel so proud he is brittish!!!!!!!!!
