I just love how Rita Ora actually performed in secret. It's even funnier that they didn't realize it was her. TBH, the other judges should have done that too. But Mika's was hilarious.

I like Rita and she was really brave to walk up there without any announcement, but unfortunately she was mostly Lip-synching on this occasion.
Edited: Yes, I can hear her singing but definitely Lip-synching as well.
I love how Rita's biggest challenge was convincing the judges who were looking straight at her that she was really herself 😂

This is ever more impressing when we consider the fact that French isn't his first language at all, english is his mothertongue ! And as a Frenchman, I can tell you that his French is perfect !

I always thought that he was just good for languages, since he speak English, French and Italian. But considering his perfect accent, your explanation makes more sense !
@@melodieprimvert2702 Oh you're welcome! To be honest I don't know much about him but I read it recently on his Wikipedia page so that's where I found out! What about his other siblings? Is their accent just as good?

I think I read that he was asked onto the voice and agreed thinking it was as a guest/to perform but it was actually to be a coach so he had to speed/panic-learn the language. Not sure that's true tho bc this was the French show and I thought he already spoke that

Must've taken a lot of guts from Rita Ora to really perform in a foreign country just like any other contestant. And for them to recognize her talent without even thinking it was her goes to show how talented she is! Love it so much!!!

In Quebec, we had Ginette Reno auditioning at our own version of The Voice (La Voix). She is considered as the queen of the voices, here. She wasn't a judge on the show, but she has been an assistant coach for every coach and worked with every contestant. When the judges heard her voice, they started to be so surprised and excited. One even cried because of who Ginette represents in the music industry of Quebec and also because of how powerful is live. I suggest anyone to go to see. That you know her or not.

I still like Rita, but the funny one is the last with the coaches kids as the judges !
Singers sing with their whole body, the primary parts of course being their larynx (mouth, vocal cords, soft and hard palette) and diaphragm and lungs (can't forget the lungs, the air is where we get the notes and the control after all).
But when we are learning to sing, we are often taught to visualize filling our bellies with air, we can't lock our knees, so a lot singers do a lot of swaying (both to keep the beat {especially when there are no instruments or at least no percussion instruments, which does weirdly include a piano, because of the hammers}, but also to keep us from locking our knees which could cause you to pass out). A lot of singers use their arms (especially a cappella singers) to keep the beat, to signify going up or down the scale, and to be a visual representation of where they are in the music, so that other members of the group know as well (like watch Voctave, they have a definite choir director in their group, he just happens to be a singer as well, so he's in line with the whole group, and Pentatonix does this as well, the trio anyway, Scott, Mitch, and Kirstie).
But Jessie not only uses her whole body, but she uses her soul as well, and that is a talent that few singers have. That is a gift, it can't be taught, everything physical mentioned above can be taught.
