You should hit up Highland Park in Cedartown, GA on the way back north. Tons of one-way trails. Three MX tracks and an obstacle course. Plus a great KTM dealer.
Thanks for checking out our channel! I agree that the XTrainer is over looked. There is nothing more that I would of asked a bike to do for me that day at Croom! Enjoy the ride, Jared

Cool vid !. I been riding at Croom since 1974 and was there riding Sunday. Yeah, Bone Valley has s small moto track. its not sand, it is red clay and if usually dry, is hard and slick as crap. Trails are alot safer than Croom, everything is 1 way. The new section crossing over the road should be open by now.
Good Evening, man we just missed you at Croom! Yes I am a huge fan of 1 way trails, it is hard to get going fast at Croom with the constant fear of someone choosing a different path. It will be cool if bone valley has a new trail! Enjoy the ride, Jared
@@3SeasRecreation What we do at Croom is: rent a camp site. Then we can stay after the park closes at 5 and ride till dark. Its really cool doing that, have the place to yourself and ride till dark and can use the hot showers and power and relax while packing to leave, so were not in a hurry.
While your doing your mods see if you can figure out what sounds like massive piston slap when coming off the throttle after higher rpm’s . I find this concerning on mine. Last thing we need is a broken piston skirt. This not a ping in the pipe it’s a hard knock from the piston skirt or something. Ether engine firing at wrong timing on decel.
@@3SeasRecreation I've heard that that sound coming from power valve axle bearings....You can not beleive it-bearing is to loose seating inside cylinder head(bearing body, outer ring-into cylinder head)!!!
Had the same problem with the noise, it sounded horrible Changed the jetting, installed Suzuki needle and swapped the pipe to 300 rr Made a huge difference
Good to know! We have all of those things sitting at the shop ready to go but we wanted to get a base feel for the bike and let it break in before we start tinkering with it! Enjoy the ride, Jared
@vladdehtyar7535 thank you. I've tried just about everything I can think of with jetting trying to overcome this dead spot I feel around 1/8 - 1/4 throttle that really makes it difficult to ride certain obstacles and make the start of steep climbs. I've tried different positions with power valve as well. Would you say that switching the pipe is the answer? Mine is a 22 as well
Hi Jared! Can you please take notice in the future, If you ride it in the rain map and lug it up steep hill in the wrong gear does the engine knock a little before it gets going. I have the same bike and I'm starting to notice this sound when riding in the rain map. I'm guessing that the timing in the rain map is causing the engine knock. I'm not 100% sure but since you're doing a full build and review of the 23 XT I'm curious if you'll encounter the same issue. Great videos for the Xtrainer model. Thanks!
So cool. you have a custom built Beta 500! Wish you lived closer so I could be your dealer for that new 300! All of those 300 models have a different customer in mind so make sure to think about where you will be riding! Enjoy the ride, Jared
Good Evening, these are the Beta Cycra Pro Bend Ultra hand guards! We are a dealer for these products and can help you if you wish! Enjoy the ride, Jared
You are lucky to have trails like this so close to home! Nothing better than a big open place to explore and make your own track! Enjoy the ride, Jared

Good Evening, I will have to learn about that place! Thanks for the recommendation! Enjoy the ride, Jared
I ride there weekly and I always wondered how a stock xtrainer would do on the whoops. Cool stuff!
I love it! Pretty cool that you get to be there that often! Enjoy The Ride, Jared
Im probably going to be doing this exact same build to my 23 xtrainer. Looking forward to the videos.
I've been super intrigued by these bikes. Looking forward to the outcome of this bike.they don't get enough attention.

So how did the suspension handle the whoops?
Awesome Jared . 👍 Beta 300 s are tops.☝️

Jared some food for thought
I read that Beta changed the bore and stroke for 2021
And I don’t hear this heavy knock on pre bore and stroke change
Looking forward to the build, curious to see if you're able to work that rattle/knock sound out
Thanks for following along! Yes we are excited to see if we can remedy the pipe noise! Enjoy the ride, Jared

I’ve seen in other posts that people adjusted the needle to 2nd from bottom and had success. I plan to try that.
What year was your xt you swapped pipes on?
22

That is a great suggestion and we will be riding again this Saturday so I will try to switch to the other map! Enjoy the ride, Jared
