I think the idea of a thing like this is that it's not a permanent fixture. Maybe to level the playing feild (even slightly) for the "poors" long enough for them to score better gear off the enemy (if they're extremely lucky)
It would make sense as a home defense option or even just a hunting option. So basically just situations where your target isn’t going to have night vision too.
I'm confused because you said in your review at 0:36 that the price point is $450 but on their website they are advertising a Black Friday deal at $489 down from $1200+. So what am I missing here? I don't like dealing with sellers that can't tell the truth, and if they're playing around then I don't need one of these.
@slayinvisible no idea. But I'm not buying from them until I find out. I can buy one next year if I see the prices be properly set mid year. That's my plan.
Yes, I was able to buy a very strong polymer Plastic J-arm that fit onto a L4G24 from amazon and the thing is sturdy has hell. ive been able to walk around my local park in pitch black with just the thermal mode on. I dude how ever have to take the screw off from the j-arm and use the screw that came with the go pro mounting system that came with the device since the threads didnt match, but it works.
I find it really interesting all these companies like Night fox and Night operators that make these budget IRNV devices are really pushing the envelope of a tactically viable option. some of those devices are just barely effective enough as an alternative to an Analogue gen 3 optic. as far as I know Sionix is leading the pack as far as non-IR dependent digital optics. I feel like they also don't want to attract too much attention from the analogue users. Lucas from T rex arms and the other tacti cool/Tier 1/LEO Douche cadets would probably shit their drawers if there was an IR/FLIR optic under $500 that could compete with a $50,000 set up. They fear the poor, but I think they should be more concerned from dying of dehydration or starvation in a SHTF situation than some untrained DEI randos with Temu plate carriers and Draco AKs Running at full tilt (Naruto Style) in the dead of night to put a stop to their "Good Christian morals." The Murder fantasies these LARPers have are straight up out of the Turner Diaries. It's a fear-based Arms Race and it's just ridiculous. sorry for rambling.
i got a atn themeral monocular ots xlt thne adding this to it for secondary and sight wraith long distance ir scope set up? any ideas how think this work as 3 as 1 form format.
the video i saw from instagram didn't even mention the thermal capabilities. either way pretty cool for entry level nods. but the digital part kind of kills it for practicality in terms of night vision use. kind of reminds me of the "equipment" they use in ghost hunting shows lol
my thoughts are it probably wouldnt line up, it would probably lag behind, but if it does line up i could see it being valid because of how expensive any head mounted thermal would cost
@@ClosedPenguin it seems like it just has a tripod size mount hole on it though i could be wrong, should be able to just get a 2 arm mount thing for it, recently i saw that someone is working on a fusion thing for analogue using a $170 thermal fpv camera so ill be following that closely
Did you ever try to bridge these onto NVG30? For a fusion only device its worth the price. I have NVG50s and would love to bino them with these using wilcox bridge.
Thermal optics only IR output is on the eyepiece and if it has a laser rangefinder. Thermal optics eat batteries & get pretty warm, so thermals will see other thermals
I know its not your fault but i ordered the Fusion 3.0 full kit after watching your review and im pretty sure i got scammed. I waited a month for my package to arrive and when it did it was nothing but a broken IR camera. So bummed. Literally wasted a whole paycheck on a busted piece of junk camera.
The specs for night operators fusion seem to be higher specs than some 1,000 dollar thermals... Surely the specs are fake. Cause how can they make and sell a better device for half the price?
Sounds like a....i can't even afford the cheap thermal option pouting...a handheld non helmet mountable entry level thermal from any other company, good or not, costs like 2k$ if the thermal works good, then yes they would be used, and actually effective...if someone doesn't have thermal or nv, you would smoke them with these easily

Agreed 👍🏻
I know the owner of the dropshipper who sells these, he’s a great dude but he’s making absolute bank with these digital Nvgs.
Where’s the original?

You ever figure it out? I saw the Bf price as well. So did they falsely give a discount that’s just the normal price?
@slayinvisible no idea. But I'm not buying from them until I find out. I can buy one next year if I see the prices be properly set mid year. That's my plan.
@@infamousforrestit’s a marketing tactic, they are never on sale. After Black Friday it’s the exact same but with “flash sale”

@thadisturbedone1606 we're discussing the company website itself. They're doing something weird on their own website.
Is the night vision adequate for star gazing? UAP spotting?
Nope.. The nvg30 you want
Will these go on a G24 mount with a J-arm?

I don’t think any rational TH-camr fears poor people. They just want to look rich for ego and social purposes.
@@DarkArtsDeepDive I suppose that's the optimistic way to look at it
Adnv is now leading in non ir digital tech
Lucas literally just dropped a video of making the cheapest night vision set up and he spent $1800
To be fair, all arms races are due to fear
How does the NV compare to the other ones you've done from night op company?
Love ur vids! Keep up the work
Thanks so much!
In CQC you need IR illumination if you have no ambient lighting.
In the outdoors the no IR is amazing
these monoculars have a built in IR light, but they also have thermal which doesn’t need any illumination

Did you try nightfox prowl?
I’ve researched gigital for a year. Honestly the prowl wasn’t really worth it. Barely usable.
@DarkArtsDeepDive idk it has similar performance as nvg 10 which is considered one of best budget picks for half price
@@kristijanmedved6066 I have the prowl. It’s bad. If the nvg10 is twice as expensive it’s horrible.

Its just another dropshopped aliexpress shitegg. Dont buy it unless you want a toy. Really cool toy, but still a toy
Not wrong 🤣
Very wrong
Using this fir airsoft is going to be lit
What happened to speedsofting Kraken :(
Also don’t thermal optics give of no IR signatures
Thermal optics only IR output is on the eyepiece and if it has a laser rangefinder. Thermal optics eat batteries & get pretty warm, so thermals will see other thermals
The simple answer for you is No. Thermal does not have or need an ir light. It's just a heat sensor

Technically you're looking at a screen too with analog night vision

Monopoly. Why do tubes of metal with baffles in them cost 1k?
I'm guessing cheap quality, none waterproof.
How did you fall off so much?
I took a 6 month break plus I’m not posting as much airsoft content 🤷🏼♂️
