I am wondering why a collapsing economy would have the currency best performing in the world. Isn't the sanction supposed to do the opposite like in the first few weeks of sanction? Very difficult to comprehend this logic.

Love the interview rahul. Pure analysis based on history and looking at the various complexity of diplomacy and international relations. The world is at a complex and volatile state. We need experts to analyze all these complexities and remind us of the lessons of history. Rahul please build your brand and integrity as a journalist that focuses on facts and analysis based on lessons of history. Please bring analyst and experts. When you invite someone to speak on religious issues please invite academics and theologians. Please don't invite these maulana and sadus. 99 percent of these priest in India regardless religion have a political agenda. We cannot have a honest dialogue within India with dirty politics mic into religion. They simply do not help in contributing to constructive dialogue for India. Please stop calling people who get into shouting match like Republic TV. Rahul really like this kind of work. Please maintain it and differentiate yourself from your peers in the industry in India. It is a shame to see the lack of civil and professional manner in India prime news television. Can we see more of this type of civilized interviews please with respect and two way dialogue.

Exactly, my thought. According to me India Today and somewhat Times Now are the most unbiased media outlets in India. Republic, ABP n all are too right leaning. NDTV, Quint, The Wire n all are too left leaning (or rather hardcore anti right). India today & the Times Network are really epitome of politically unbiased journalism truly justifying the fact that media is the fourth pillar of our democracy.

Not acceptable, that proposition is not at all acceptable. Be it authoritarianism or hardcore policy push up and reform, I dont care. We need to accelerate to stop such ideas from floating around.
This is a big problem. Intellectuals like him propagating India as bad as he described in policy or reform terms is just mind boggling irrespective of the fact, of it is true or not.
If it is true we need to take action in pro bussiness policies and if it false then we need to make sure that we propagate our changes or policy reforms loud enough to leave their sound meaningless and inaudible.

Not to be rude, but most of it sounds like not the fault of weapons systems but the inability or lack of skillset in warfare techniques on part of Russia.
What does India have concerns regarding cyber from Russian weapons system, Sim card issues, GPS issues and as such.
We are talking helicopters, fighter jets, Defence systems, engine sytems. Out of this realm most of what Indian armed forces operate is either diversified or co produced with other countries,
Like submarines, warships, frigates, fighter jets even(rafale), rifles and other armaments, army gear etc.

Selling “dreams” via a pliant media& free rations for 80 crore poor is not economic miracle!!!I
It is subjugation of the poor for Electoral majority- a permanent dependent class!
The destruction of Institutions will always b a deterrence for large scale FDI who flee at instability.
