I watched your first real board video and then jumped ahead to this one. What a step up in quality! Nice job, man. These videos are really helping me to appreciate the skill of the pros, and more importantly the never-ending beauty of the game. Thanks again for what you do, it's pretty dang awesome.
Cho Hyeyeon used to be the #1 or 2 female player in the world . Her prime was 5-10 years ago where she kept going back and forth with Rui Naiwei for the top lady rank. Her ELO is about 3200 and has remained steady. However, Lee Changho still has a rating in the mid 3300's and is easily half a stone to a stone above her still. Lee Changho in his prime was a beast. He had a rating near ELO 3600 in the mid 1990's !!!! That would be top 3-4 in the world today. Consider this: Lee Changho is almost the first person with and ELO rating over 3400 in history, and the first over 3500 and the first to get near 3600. That's a very rare talent -- and it's why he dominated GO world for 15+ years at #1. With Today's Internet and AI domination , I don't think it's possible for a single player to dominate that long ever again. The Days of a Go Seigen where the top 2 guys stays the same for over 10 years are over. Lee Sedol may go down as the last decade dominator; but Lee Changho will go down as the last "1 stone over the second guy" person ever.
also - he was no1- got toppled by the new hyper-aggressive style (afaik designed to beat his calm style) renewed his own style and came back to be in the top four...
The magically appearing "settles" stone on D10 at 13:04 threw me off so hard... Had to rewatch the thing like 3 times until I understood what's happening and who's turn it is...
Great Video. but in the spirit of perfectionism I have to point out the shadow of the stones on top is really distracting. :) (and yes I know that effort you have put into your real board series.)

I had to double check to see if it was a Monday
The hidden Gods will be pleased... such huuuge sacrifices from both sides, its crazy
Beautiful game. And the capture bowls add SO much to your setup! :)

Great! Thank you
Chill
w+25??? That's enormous for a pro game
hence it didn't go the full distance: many pro games end like this- with resignation after midgame.
yo, my man, why is da board green? great video tho
thee female lee changho vs the real lee changho?
must be good
"Cho vs Changho" is a strange thumbnail caption though... You're using her family name and his given name.
>> the rest of the name kept having strange placement in the thumbnail >
