The more I think about it the more I realize, Heaven's Door is a confusing stand. There is so many ideas you can draw from how Heaven's Door could've been used in part 6 or how it could play a role in part 7. Perhaps Rohan is writing part 7 and 8, and Heavens Door allows him to create a reality he wants and we just never knew the full extent of his stand. Personally, I think these are questions the should be brought up to Araki
Ok that would certainly be a better explanation for the dramatic art change between 6 and 7 and the same but different characters than an alternate universe that isn’t in the alternate universe at the end of Part 6
I read some theories of part 7 & 8 were stories written by Rohan too and that explains why Josuke8's reoccurring joke is his 4 balls to mock Josuke who was the inspiration, lol. Although to be fair, if we're going by that, it means Rohan holds big respect for Josuke too. The problems Josuke8 faced were damn wild, not to mention his tragic backstory and dedication. Also, that would explain why there's no Rohan's counterpart in part 8 while Okuyasu and Koichi's exist. The closest one is Rai Mamezuku for their antisocial, no-nonsense, and eccentric personality.
That aside, HD's potential is A, after all. First time, he has to show people his manuscript -> Then, drawing on the air -> Using it on things (from TSKR, although spin-off, it was officially drawn by Araki) -> Using it on himself (TSKR too).

@@zigslotheon the alternate universes are genuinely not at all hard to comprehend if you think for more than 5 seconds. imagine the jojo universe is a video game, and parts 1-6's are taking place in one specific copy of that game being played by one specific guy, and he resets the save file. there also happens to be an entirely different guy playing a different copy of the game on a different console, that's 7-8. you wouldnt automatically assume that the act of resetting the save file of the one game would link the two, would you? people are only hung up on wanting to see the part 7 universe as what comes in the reset stone ocean universe because of a faulty assumption, and if you let go of that theres less than nothing to be confused at.

my favorite part about jojo is that rohan got stand just because he's good. no arrows, no bloodline, no magic. He's just too good for a manga artist

As for Giorno, GER protected him, making him immune to the universe reset, however he got transported into the timeline which Pucci remade, so Im also guessing Rohan is there with him on that timeline too.
