I have a question.what purpose does the animation cancel serve

1. It deals full damage without the oppurtunity to be punished/parried.
2. You can bait your enemy with it
3. You can chain 1 hit after it to punish abilities very quickly (eg Vader's choke)
4. It looks cool😎😁
