In my experience Luke, Rey and Obi-Wan have the best lunges on the lightside. Anakin's swing speed is too slow, especially if he does the ballerina move to lunge, and Yoda barely lunges full stop.
Yodas lunge isn’t great distance wise or animation wise like theirs, but with the right dodges and dash attacks, it’s possible to land lunges that basically teleport you to the enemy’s back during a combo. The light side definitely has the best lunges in general, I think only maul and Vader come close not sure about grievous. Kylo’s also feels like Yodas, where a lunge can be almost be like an extra frenzy lunge. And dooku’s is just busted. Only great when paired with some technique. I feel like they just didn’t care when they made anakin and dooku 😂 fastest swing speeds but the weirdest lunge animations
@@kingdon3719 Dooku swings much faster than Anakin but he has terrible lunges. Anakin's are the 2nd worst on the light side after Yoda. Vader's swings are so fast and his lunges are so good it's just ridiculous.

The reason anakin might seem better is that he has more opportunities to even do a lunge (his 2-3 different abilities to ragdoll). But with all the movement yoda can do, you land way more lunges Oddly enough Anakins actually near the same as dookus speed, just dooku also has duelist and *some* better animations to swing faster. And Vader is filthy, yes
