Buy the tractor for $2000 less, add $7000 to get it up to par.
Have to modify everything because Kioti doesnt have very good parts buying options.
Seems to me that ANY other brand is a better choice. Unless you like to fab your own parts for everything. but in that case, might as well buy an old used tractor for $5000

Have had my Kioti DK 45 standard shift, open station for 9 years. It has 2900 hrs and has been a workhorse. Front loader, backhoe, bush hog and carry-all are my main implements. I work the machine hard, but keep regular maintenance schedule. I hated the self-leveling aspect of the loader and found a way to remove it. At this point I'm on the original tires (though the fronts will need replacing this year) and JUST replaced the original battery! Only problems were ones caused by me pushing the limits. Also have a 2410 hst for smaller projects and getting around in my orchards. Every tractor has good and bad, but I love my Kioti's and would do it again.

I have had a CK3510 for 6 months.. And boy do I love the unit..... I look at 5 different brands of tractors and even went back and forth looking at Bobcats... Kioti make a great unit. Just need more deals in the Midwest.

      @brandellfleming3225 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

The Bobcats are actually rebadged Kioti/Daedong tractors. I think you made a great choice! That is the one MAJOR drawback to Kioti is the dealer network. As I said in the video I drove 3.5 hours to the closest dealer at the time to buy the tractor. Now there are a couple dealers about 1.5 hours away, but in places I never go, so the convenience of them is still low. If they had more dealers, they would be as big as the big guys (Kubota, Deere, Mahindra, New Holland) in my opinion.

That they do. Most all of the things I pointed out and added to mine are standard on the "SE" series of tractors, which were not available when I bought mine in 2016. Essentially mine is a bootleg SE, made from scratch. But you can't beat the features, quality, and price point, for sure.

I have a 2017 CK3510 and love it. I added a third function hydraulic like you did, a light bar (front and back facing), a flashing strobe (I do road work on my camp road), hooks on the bucket, a small fire extinguisher, an ammo box to carry tools and chains and a backup camera with 4" display. Also, added a factory mirror (a must have). Love my tractor, Kioti is well built and they covered a crack in my backhoe subframe even after it was out of warranty. Great tractor.

One comment , being down south you will not run into a problem with cold . If you have a skid steer hyd coupler , they do not work in cold weather . When hooking up you need to use a tiger torch to heat the couplers , then run into trouble caused by burning the o-rings . Lots of people will put a at coupler Hooked back to back with a bobcat coupler , then just plug the adapter in for winter use

My only complaint is how expensive parts are and that Kioti forces us to take it to a dealer for work. For instance the injectors are 600+ dollars each (parts only) and they can easily need to be replaced due to dirt or bad gas. The injectors also need to be programed in to the computer which only a dealer can do. Same with the CEL, only the dealer can reset it which ours charge 100 dollars to use the scanner on your tractor. I think that is where they make the 6k price difference from.

Here in s my 2 1/2 year review of my 2019 CK 3510.
First off, love the tractor, it is my 2nd Kioti, first was a LB1914. I had that for 10 years before being able to afford a larger model.
    Truth....
The company does not have their shit together.
Parts system is super jacked up, every dealer I have went to for parts complains (5 dealers) that looking up parts is a nightmare.
Individual parts are almost always included in a group, have to buy the whole kit, not individually.
The seat (ugh) cheap and fall apart quick. I keep the tractor under roof for storage, but when using it for the day and not in the seat, it is vulnerable to the sun (cracks). Average replacement cost per pad (not frame) is $250 for bottom pad and $250 for backrest.
Oh, and good luck getting parts the past year (and currently (2021)).
CK3510 does not have a seat cut off switch, but does have a wire that goes bad and causes key to turn it on to fail. Factory trained mechanics took weeks to figure out.
I have had enough and will be buying a 50-60hp Massey Ferguson or New Holland in about 4 months when I can get parts to fix and sell this Kioti.
I live about 100 miles from their NC plant.

Hey Hank & Brandel such a GREAT review. With 3 years of use & 100hrs the ck4010 is just a puppy. My " other orange" tractor is just OK, a mx5200 manual shuttle tlb. Looking for a smaller rig like yours, but in comparison the other " orange" tractor falls on it's face in 95% of the time in all categories. But just really like the Massey-Ferguson 1825e ( because l have a 1736 power shuttle: a little bigger & Pure luxury). This kioti ck4010 rig might be the perfect "one-only" tractor to have. I just like 3 or 4 tractors laying around!! Keep all them fantastic vidios comming Mr. Hank.

Late to the party, but really enjoyed the video! I have a CK3510SE and really want to add the levelers, added the hydraulic top link, worth every cent paid for it, $250. Did not understand the reference to "whole goods kit" as compared to "parts" price difference for the levelers? Not knocking the CK, but by the time you add the accessories, the CK has got to be close in price to the SE?

Hank and Brad - nicely done video. Going to throw in my 2 cents worth on Brad's up grade for the front tie down point. Totally agree with the his point for one to be there and that is the best place. But instead of a "D" ring I added two hooks. When tying down you can get a cross pull on the front end, greater security and I believe, at least my state, it is mandatory way to tie down.

The telescopic stabilizers for the 3pt hitch are actually a Kubota accessory item, part number L8430. The engine does have a dpf, but I've seen no issues, and haven't heard any from the Kioti group I'm in on Facebook, either. I've regen'd three times, the first two due to low RPM operation. Since I've been running the tractor between 1800-2000 rpm all the time, I've not had any accelerated dpf issues. $37k for the 60hp dk60se cab seems a bit high, but for an NX might be in line. I've gotten prices on a dk5310se cab for around $30k in Florida and Tennessee.

@Eli Dicken Thanks Eli. I have a half mile road that desperately needs grading with drainage put in and then rock and gravel. And then I need a snow blower which these tractors with the 3rd function front hydraulics make for an awesome front blower setup. I also need a backhoe as well as all the normal farm stuff. Tiller, brush hog, box blade, rear blade, chipper... And the rear hydraulics built in are an awesome upgrade. Now in top of all that I want to start a tractor service once I get to Idaho so a little beefier frame with a bit more power I think would handle the extra use... I also need to dig a foundation pad, clear a couple acres for an orchard and dig a walipini greenhouse. Between the drainage ditches and the walipini I need that backhoe. And a bigger one at that so with all that in mind and all.the research I've been doing a 35-45hp tractor I think would be just right.

I had a Deere MX5 5' rotary cutter, and with the hydraulic top link I could literally sit it on brush to cut away. I love it! The Kubota L8430 kit is more or less bolt on, with one modification. The Kioti lift arms are taller, so you have to cut away a locating bracket from the lift arm end. It is intended to keep the end of the arm from twisting, but seems to be useless. So far, I haven't had any issues and they've been on the tractor for over a year.
