My pleasure. There is no rush, it's normally a natural journey to specialise, took me years! I'm working on a Logo design course at the moment, so that will be out in a few months, then after that, I'll be doing a branding one so I hope they will help you.

@@yomarisol haa..... It is highest you can earn in India in an average company even if you are a professional with 10-15 years of experience. Seriously, I know many of them who are struggling. After losing the battle they atleast manage to buy a good quality printer to open a printer shop and start taking local print jobs.
I have a 12 year old granddaughter who loves to draw. Shes pretty good. I feel she should go into a field where she can work doing what she loves to do which she does all on her phone n draws with her finger. What is your opinion on what field to go into?
My best advice for a 12 year old is to just continue to be creative and have fun with it. Don’t worry too much about what field to go into just yet. That should come naturally later on. Don’t need to worry about that until like 16/18 Just keep nurturing her creative endeavour, give her traditional as well as modern tools, get her to get hand on with traditional media too, it will encourage her to be more creative and branch out and do larger work so not just using the small screen. Will make her think bigger! There are loads of options for her future, Illustration, Graphic Design, Fashion, UX, Architecture and so on, the list is endless. Right now, just encourage her 😀 xx Best of luck!

Hey Kids: Graphic design is a soul-less occupation. It's not what you think it is. Trust me. The pay sucks. It's oversaturated and extremely competitive to get ANY job. And you never get to do anything cool, fun or weird b/c that's just too risky. Basically you will end up being a mac monkey and doing a million revisions and the CDs are mostly clueless, creepy old men who wouldn't know creative if it punched them in the face.
I honestly doubted if I could even make a living, although I’m only 19 and still am trying to learn design while battling my depression :/. This gave me a clear goal of amazing options that pay well, and I’ll do my best to make a great portfolio 🤍

I think I like surface design and publication design… but I cant really draw
