- This run was a lot of fun to do! Even though the rules weren't the same, @Limcube's Master Sword only run inspired me to do this one!

All fusion materials give exactly 25 durability, so concentrate on getting the most damaging ones as this will save you the most swings.

Depending on the game version, you could always use the weapon dupe glitch to get yourself the prologue "msg not found" master sword.
it would require other weapons tho..
@TotkDreamr depends on how you view requirements. They wouldn't be used for combat, making them little different than using items like zonai devices.

I’ve always wanted to get the master sword, but I haven’t yet on my account. I just respect the fact that the entire speedrun was 11:29:43, yet the video was edited to 10 minutes. Respects to that lmao😂
You don't need the geoglyphs: the dragon follows a predictable path aroudn all of the glyphs so just use the skyview tower just east of Hyrule Castle where there's three geoglyphs right next to each other and you'll find her in no time.
I dont think that was the problem tho, the dragon Flys damn high up(higher then most Skyview towers) unless you do get the glyphs or kill the phantom Gannon in the great deku tree

@@theglassis2331 you can fly up with zonia devices pretty easily, i just dont think he wanted to cheese it
After the geoglyphs the dragon descends 600 ft (approx.) You can reach the dragon before ethe glyphs, but you need lots of zonal charges or energy cells. Zonal armor reccomended.

It should be though, since fusion actually doesn’t change its name, and the fused material becomes invisible after approx 10 seconds.
But people always have something to nitpick about.

The fact that you beat this glitchless, I can think of a bunch of glitches that could help this just made the video even more juicy
I did this challenge too. The sword constantly breaking on the Construct was so annoying. Watching this and learning I could've just spin attacked is painful.

Watching the geoglyphs doesn’t actually lower her, rescuing the Deku tree does
She will be lowered for the whole swoop part of the last one though so that’s helpful if you already have the second wheel, but I didn’t when I did the glyphs and she went right back to her sky-high path until I saved the tree
All the tears of the dragon and i think two story memories does lower her. My brother did it without ever going to the korok foresy
Both will but the geoglyph decent is only temporary for like immediately after tear 12 they fly around a bit then ascend back to normal height
The geoglyphs does lower her. That's how I got the master sword. I went to the Deku tree afterwards and the quest to find the master sword automatically just cleared itself

You don't actually need to progress far to get to the bargainer statue, I got to it on accident by going through one of the secret trapdoors and running around a (very huge) cave
FYI you could have reached the horned statue, although you have to progress the main to get the easy way to the statue, you can enter the other end of the cave in Hyrule castle.
Additionally, I believe you could retrieve the Master Sword without upgrading your stamina as, unlike the last game, you can use food buffs to increase your max stamina.
Using food buff doesn’t work (I tried) extra stamina doesn’t count and you can’t eat when you’re pulling the master sword

You actually dont need to do any quests to unlock the barginer statue because you can enter frm the other end of the cave somewhere in the grounded section of hirule castle

This is a lot of effort for small ish channel like yourself. We shall watch your career with great interest.
The light dragon is super easy, there's some zonai platforms that hover with baloons right next to where you come out of the eldin canyon sky tower. you don't need much battery and can just go up and up then use a bunch of wings to get to the light dragon. that's how i got the master sword
The demon statue is not locked by main quests, you can access it by the hyrule castle tunnels
its blocked by rock walls, which you cant break without weapon

Totk with only character specific weapons. Master sword, great eagle boy, gloom weapons, scimitar of the seven and boulder breaker. You have to get all of them before you can fight ganon
I don't know about the Great Sky Island, but if you mean kill the final boss; yes, yes you beat it with just the Master Sword. The Master Sword doesn't seem to take durability damage during the final boss fight. I might be wrong, but I know for a fact that when I fought the final boss WITH the Master Sword; it never changed from the little sparkle signaling max durability.
im pretty sure it's designed that way. it also seems to take no durability damage from ganondorf, either.

It wouldn't help because it's slower, but you can unlock the Bargainer's Statue by beating Colgera, which doesn't require any weapons
You can get to the bargainer statue earlt by going into the tunnel from the castle.

Maybe you can also complete the yiga clan secret technique side quest so you can use earthquake when no master sword

funny part is for the demon king army I attached a cannon to my hylian shield and it was easy
Technically you could have still used shields since when a shield is fused to a weapon it acts like a shield when you don't have one. You can even pary with it.
you can only parry with a shield fusion on a 2 handed weapon iirc
@@Doge_LXIX partially true. You can parry with single handed sword shields you just can't have a shield in your off hand.

As far as I am aware it likely has to do overlapping functionality since why would you guard with your sword if you already have a shield in the offhand which is why you have to be without a shield for the function to happen. Two handed weapons meet that condition automatically due to not being able to access the shield.

I almost shed a tear because you can do a really easy glitch to get the master sword early 😭😭😭😭 the master sword you can get early is also unbreakable because its used with a save transfer from the opening cutscene, and you can't open your inventory in the opening cutscene so that gives the master sword in that infinite durability.

@@tobiasrex8052 yes you keep the glitched Master-Sword after updating but its not possible to get it then. Once you have you keep it for ever

One question. Where can you get the master sword early without doing the quests? I tried to get to the dragon before doing the quests but it was way too high
you need to defeat the phantom gannon inside deku tree first, in order for her to fly lower

First of all, GANNON-BANNED.
Second, if you're quick, and have the right Skyview Tower activated, you can reach her before she gets back up too high.
New chalenge : beat the game with the msgnotfound master sword
btw this can be much easier if u r on 1.1.1 or 1.1.0 bc you can use the msgnotfound master sword glitch that has a infinite durabilty master sword 🎉and the thing is u can get it like early on in the game before you leave the sky island 🎉

Wait it already got patched? I have it so I never knew because it still let me keep it, I did sort of think it got patched. Because the glitch zuggle got patched in 1.1.2 and I think the unbreakable master sword must of included some sort of zuggle glitch, I was playing as it happened. I tried to throw my master sword the second the update happened and because I wasn't technically holding the msgnotfnd since it included zuggle, I tried to throw it (for some reason) then it threw the msgnotfnd? So I had 2 msgnotfnd swords now.

Not gonna lie, I for some reason never fused anything to my master sword for the final boss and dear god was he tanky, oh I also still don't have the hylian shield even after 100 hours
I don't blame you for dying to Ganondorf I died WAAAY more with full armor items and weapons😅
I'm actually amazed that I beat Ganondorf first try yesterday. Couldn't get flurry rushes during Secret Stone Phase and actually forgot to watch his health because it caught me off guard when I defeated him.
Demon Dragon was surprisingly nothing. Only got hit once but that was it.

I'm surprised no one has asked how you got materials like boss bokoblin horns, or lynel horns for fusing without fighting. Even if we take into account stuff you get from Koltin, and random drops, you have waaay too much stuff for someone "only using the master sword"

I didn't state it specifically in my rules, but It's not allowed.
Are there checkpoints between the boss rush and Ganon fights?
You can walk around in between, so you should be able to save
The only time it saves is right before Ganon, if you die before that you have to start from the very beginning.

Yeah thats a feature vs ganon but it does more damage against the bosses and his army. It does more damage against gloom enemies too, but more to the ganon gloom ones
