This song has the most interesting use of throat singing to me. How it goes from the highs to the lows and back is really cool.

Wow, the underlying riff definitely has some musical similarities to American folk music, but is distinctly Asian at the same time. Music truly is a universal language.

I notice something on the gorgeous horse fiddles in this video, they have different designs of holes in the wooden frame, does this serve some purpose other than just a different decorative style? Does the sound change when it is just a hole, or stylized holes like a voilin might have?
