I love it. 50% of my ancestors come from Mongolia, Altai mountains. Great to see this beautiful and ancient culture is traveling the world for everyone to get a taste of it. Love you guys. One day, one day I will visit Mongolia.

Many came from there to this part of MN because it is like Mazuria, so I have many distant cousins in the area. It's funny, because sometimes we meet and find out we're related because we recognize the sallow skin tone! It is well known in certain branches of our family - we always thought that we had Tatar blood. There are still Tatar communities in the Mazuria area. So upon further research I find one of the family coats of arms is Leliwa which is also one of the Tatars'. And I've discovered many of the foods my family made are Tatar. It could all be due to close proximity, but research indicates a strong likelihood of Tatar blood. What a mixture! Mazovian, ethnic Old Prussian, Lipka Kipchack, and probably a bit of German and Jew thrown in! Looking forward to genetic testing, and a journey home. I come from a family with Mongolian origins that arrived in Romania through the Russian channel. My great-great-great-great-grandparents were descendants of Batu Han, but when they migrated to Romania, they had Indo-European women, predominantly Slavic. I love this music very much.

My great-great-great-great-grandparents were descendants of Batu Han, but when they migrated to Romania, they had Indo-European women, predominantly Slavic.
I love this music very much.
