It's like a new bike with the pipe! I'm running NKG 8R... not ideal the (8R). Bought big box when I got into the hobby and I'm trying to use them up. Probably is NKG makes dam good plugs so I'm not using them up fast hahaha 😅😅😅😅🎉🎉🎉
I spent the 30 bucks and bought an arch chain tensioner and its a little more trouble to get it lined up but not having to worry about the 4 bolt tensioner going into the spokes and killing me was well worth the money. Looking down at my tensioner at 30mph is what made me crash my mongoose.
@@grendelsgarage9723it was quite the ordeal but I used the wider roller from a spring tensioner but I had to make a bearing spacer from an old 12mm piston pin to keep the bolt from crushing the bearings together as the spacer from the factory is aluminum and too large in diameter. So if your willing to do the work its a good setup. The 12mm pin is hard as f and a hacksaw wouldn't even scratch it. A dremel with a cutting wheel worked fine. Between the wider roller and two crescent wrenches to twist the arch it lined up perfect.
i want one sounds amazing my 66/80 China doll with a 36 t sprocket does 40 mph (down hill) and 32 tooth does 38 mph not enough power for my fat ass, just ordered a 28-tooth sprocket with 3 hole hub mount. Is that stock or have you balanced it? modify the motor?
I wasn't sure what I was expecting when I got this motor, but I'm flat impressed. Your China doll is doing pretty good, though! Any mods? I've not ported the Avenger. She is stock minus the head and pipe. 🎉🎉🎉🎉 looking to upgrade the card next. I tried 20 22 and now 24mm none of them did any better that the stock bofang. The expansion chamber and timing key was the only thing that helped. Without porting there's not much more you can get out of the Avenger and it's pretty much ported all it can be. Yes 32t will help but then your riding the clutch all the time with the saw motors
@SuperTrikeBicycle. uhh you don't need to go bigger than 20-21. Like at all. Also it's probably because of your tuning. You need to tune them, add more fuel. And don't bottleneck the intake setup.
First time i pulled back on the throttle while letting the clutch out on my Avenger 85, i giggled as it pulled the front wheel up. So i did it again to make sure i wasn't hallucinating, lol. I sadly have "hurt" the cylinder on my first run because i was to impatient for break in. But i can say to anyone considering a build, the Avenger 85 rocks it! I have verified with gps 50.9mph but my schwinn digital says at one point in time i hit 62.3mph.... (i rarely use gps and running at that speed your not watching the handle bars! lol) speedo checks out to be 1-2mph off from radar and gps.... i can't confirm it, so it remains a big fish story i can't prove.... yet.... btw, stock engine with gutted pipe leaving the cap on it, and a cheap oz reed. that speed would have been clocked going down hill without question. Avenger 85 is way overlooked, the power curve on these engines are quite lovely for daily use.... cars think they gonna go around you, lol
also before my "Runleader" telemetry broke it went well over 400 degrees ferenheight at about 9490rpm! But the copper ring broke off and then the battery clip broke, so no temps or rpm until i get a replacement.

The day i had it running right and it woke up, i took it up a massive steep hill and hit 38mph and had to let off at top! 5 minutes later having more fun wanting more numbers, i "heat" siezed it. WTH was i thinking? it came back to life, but dammaged and now doesn't run right. replace the jug with a new one and ..... we will see, my friend is riding my last year bike and just upgraded it to a Chinarellia from runfast.... i so badly want to race him now... lol... maybe this week. goat riders! - be safe! be aware! be free! (btw i am working on a cdhpower v80 upgrade kit designed for a pk80 "triple 40" as a junk engine from Gomax went wrong quickly for many reasons. Using a GPS as a speedometer has always netted me 2mph error because gps can't take into account your speed over 3d dimensional terrain so I bet you hit 50mph on this run.
one of the things i am learning the hard way, is the break in period!!!!! get a kit running, be NICE to it!!!!! The second it wakes up you will dammage it if you are not mindful..... 2-stroke addictions are dangerous, let alone self detructive if not exercised in self. in that reality, a person needs to be PATIENT with these projects! I have ruined 2 engines out of being in a hurry and not waiting for the break in on these.! - I just replaced a jug on an engine with less than 200(?) miles on it! Because i tried to burn it up the first day without break in!!! break them in! - a very young man a couple weeks ago with skyhawk pk80(?) old school on his bike. seriously, evel kenievel would not have road this thing as it had broken frame in serious places, dry rot tires ready to explode, rag joint, and more..... but a 15-20 yr old engine gave me the giggles until i found out it don't have breaks, literallly,,,.... thanks for the heads up bro! lol,..... yeah a 15 yr old wild child needed help, i helped him, and realised i shouldn't have.... no less, i deeple admire his tenacity, freedom, diligence, and fire for it..... I know that phantom 85 is quite loud even in stock but this pipe on this motor gotta be a ear ringing device. I only had a mz65 clone on a yd100 and had to make a silencer for it or else i woud have my ears ringing for a day after each ride.
@acorncz4752 you know what is weird? My Nasky Jack pipe is much louder than this gomax pipe. 🤣🤣. The gomax pipe is better built, though. Brother, I used to run silencers all the time, but traffic has been wild the past year, so I stopped. It's not good for my ears 😕 but people hear me coming even in their cars.

Give 32T a try lmao. On 10/36T it topped out 10k for you. You may get close on 32T, going around 55mph.
he needs a pwk21, that expansion chamber is being bottle necked.

Running a 36 tooth sprocket. My town was built on a long hill, so I dropped all my bikes to 36 tooth sprockets.

This is the side exhaust pipe from gomax industry. Just a heads up. I did have to use a floor jack to bend it to fit my ride.
