A very useful insight. With the large deep gutters with flattish roofs, I just use leather gloves to scoop the gutters out: typically into cardboard boxes which I then throw to the ground. but for the edge gutters of the sort your showing I use a Makita air blower which is very noisy, powerful, small, and messy; but it does the job. :) John, Perth, Western-Au'

Perfect. I do this exact method twice a year but I use the leaf blower since it is not packed with leaves like the one you show. Thanks for sharing

Yeah, if you do it twice a year that will really help to keep the sludge from building in the bottom.
