From what I know the 1st fly with this couler scheme was called (the Charlotte) And I think it was tied by a North east Scotland angler I 1st came accross it in the early 90's tied on doubles and trebles on the river Don Aberdeenshire Scotland. They were not temple dog style but had a fairly big wing. It caught a lot of fish. The old timers that had used it for years slowly faded away from the river bank and this patern with them. I still use it. but I never see it in anyones box A lot of people confuse it with a (hairy Marry) . Great tie, thanks for shairing.
In swedish the name is "Den Vanliga" and not "Den Varnliga" if you didnt know that. Or maybe it was just a typeing error. Just so you know =D Love your videos btw
