Nice. Never seen them done with the beads before. Just melt, resin , color with a marker & re-resin. Both ways work & thanks for putting the vid up. You live near the coast? Just asking because I see those Olive over White Clousers sitting on your desk. That is a great color combo for stripers here in the N.E. in the Fall. Tight lines.
Thank you very much. I thank God for the ability to be able to make these videos for you all. It’s only by his grace and all my subscribers that I can do it. I’m so happy that I’m able to make videos that are informative and helpful to so many people. God bless you, thank you!
Hey Buddy, I read your other posting. You never told us what the seller name you are using on eBay. Nice eyes, I have burned mono and resined it before, never thought about the beads though. Great idea. . All the best, Sean
By the way, it’s actually not my idea for the eyes. I wish I could say it was, but others have done it before. I just wanted to show everyone Incase some of you hadn’t seen it before. How is your wife Sean? I still keep you and your family in my prayers.
Thanks! One of my subs actually suggested it. Haha! This channel has become a hub of knowledge from a collective of 25k people all giving great ideas and suggestions that I am able to post up. Really great-full for all my subscribers!
I see demos where the presenter cuts many pieces of mono same length by measuring 1 cut piece against tag end from spool. Why not make 5 or 8 loops around 1 or 2 fingers, then cut with scissors across all windings. Bam you're done.
No sir, not in this video. Also, this is frigg'n brilliant. I should have said that before. I've literally been sitting here with my 4 yo for about an hour making these eyes which is remarkable because he has trouble concentrating sometimes. Its possibly your calm voice. Anyway, I know this isn't your idea, but thanks for the vids anyway
Thanks man! Glad to have helped you light that ember. Its addicting man... HAHA So, I just dont fish bee patterns often, so I dont really tie them either. Sorry bro.
Simply easy and awesome thanks
Glad it helped.
Brilliant! Learn something new everyday. Thanks
Glad to help
Great idea with the beads, i was just burning mono.
For sure man, glad you like it. It wasn't actually my idea though, I think I linked to a video that I got the idea from.

Thanks, yeah I’m in Texas, some cost fishing.
Really good beginner video. Don't forget to move the cup before you hit with the light. One day I kicked off a cup full. LOL.
Yes, we have all made that mistake
Elongated shrimp aka crab eyes aka frog eyes if you add a horizontal line beneath the eyes it's becomes a Jap pi sign facing down
Great job explaining this great hack.
Thanks!
Yeah no problem they don't want to end the game so this is all the old stuff I've lost my abilities I was just told by the birds 😭
Отличные глазки получились
Thank you
I also follow Coastal Fly.
You bot😮h do an awesome job with your informative videos.

Awesome tip! Is the UV resin necessary for the bead to stay on? A bit on a budget so haven’t invested in UV stuff yet. Thanks!
Thanks. Yes it is, you could try 5 minute epoxy also. not sure if that will work as well or not though. Glad to help!
Hobby Lobby has their jewelry making 50% off. Four ounces of UV resin and a light for less than $20.
Or a dab of superglue.
Прекрасная идея👍
Who 5/6 robitic arm?

I linked to my eBay I thought. Either way the seller handle I use is escapingdailygrind

What size beads were those TIA ❤
I can’t remember, but I put it in the description section of the video I think
This is an awesome video, thank you! Now, is there a dyi for shrimp skin?😂
Thanks. I haven’t seen anything for shrimp skin…. Sorry
Great Vid!
Thank you
Those are nice
Thanks
What kind of beads are you using? No need for nail polish just use acrylic paint?
Hey, I was using very small beads made for fly tying but any tiny glass bead should work. As for paint, try it I guess. Nail polish is cheap though.
Thx for sharing
👍
How do u put the eyes on bait?? Sorry for my question.. Im totally a noob who had interested in fly fishing technique...
These eyes are easy, tie them in. Go look up presidential shrimp, as I use these exact eyes.
What kind of vise was used in the video?
Renzetti traveler
@@McFlyAngler Thx
Those look great Shawn. What size mono were you using?
20 lb... I would say anything between 20 and 30 would be fine
Awesome.
Thanks

Good thinking!
And what I really meant to say was, "Great video. I will definitely be trying this with my son tomorrow. Thank you for creating this."
Lol thanks. I never felt you were being rude or anything. I think your idea is a great one. I might give it a try!
🤩👍❗
Tip: burn one end of the mono before you put the beads on
I think I do that... didn’t I do that?

Your video is better. I think this could be used for fish eyes on larger fly's.
I dont know if mine is better... But just different. Thanks! :) Yeah, possibly could your right!
McFly Angler sorry if I missed it, but do you have a video on tying a bumble bee imitation, if not would love to see one. Keep up the great work- Zach
I don’t man, sorry...
McFly Angler no worries, your the reason I got into tying and I'm loving it so far, thanks again
Thanks man! Glad to have helped you light that ember. Its addicting man... HAHA So, I just dont fish bee patterns often, so I dont really tie them either. Sorry bro.
DON'T USE YOUR FINGERS LIKE THIS GUY............
