Whoopin Stix have a decent warranty too(10 years) and literally have rods for all species/sizes. Great for people not ready spend a lot on gear yet or just learning to fish.
I've been thinking about getting some for catfish setups.

I'm a salt water fisher iv been trying to catch bass but I can only catch them in this one small pond. I can't seem to catch to many bass at the lakes near me in PA but you can see a lot of them through the water there. Stay safe keep up the great work!

Hey lojo! I bought that rod with the matching reel and it was one of my first combos. I got so annoyed when the second piece flew off, it kept doing it.
if you ever have that happen again you can just glue them together.

4:38 No way, I went in for cheap heavy rods and got the 6'6" "whoopin stick" spinning rod knowing it's prolly breaking soon. It does spin a bit (reel can spin off the axis of the guides on the rod) but has been holding strong otherwise for at least a year of pretty heavy abuse. I highly recommend if you want a very cheap/affordable rod because you will always find them crazy cheap. The way it spins off its axis doesn't really negatively affect the fishing in my opinion.
This is exactly why i never buy two piece rods anymore. Seen the front half of way too many rods get tossed into the deep. Even my salt water stuff is all one piece.

I had the same rod but it came with a matching spinning reel. I got for the same price at cabelas when they first opened north of Fort Worth.

catch a bunch of shiners from the swamp and throw em in the pond then go catfishing with the ones that dont make it ,the key to huge bass is tons of bait but you dont want to stock bluegill or sunfish a ton cuz once they get to a surtain size not much cant be eaten by much.

I bought the Crappie Maxx for ultra light fishing and put it on a light casting rod. I mainly use it for crappie and bluegill fishing.

Have same set up from Bass Pro but with Abu Garcia black max and the rod comes apart after about every 15 casts. Glad I’m not the only one that has that problem with the Whuppin’ stick
