    You struck a chord with me! I never expected someone to make a good, comprehensible video about this topic and most of the TH-camrs are busy reiterating what is written in NCERT. Thank God found this channel. Thank you!

    Sir, yesterday was my science exam. I was able to do good in it ( hoping for a 100%) , but that could not have been made possible was it not for your amazing teaching. From explaining Generators to evoulution, you dispelled all the fallacies that i harboured. Although i know that boards dont have much to do with concepts and practicality, but if someone is explaining these things in a very vivacious and vivid manner:, learning becomes fun. And it did!
    Thank you sir for everything!
    I am now eagerly looking forward to getting taught from you in class 11!

    Yes, I too like it! But you should also upload or add these videos in your Official app too because many of us uses Khan Academy App to study and not much TH-cam.

    What would have happened if the green colour beetle was eaten as a solo ... No matter a less probability but what if ??

    Does anyone have a good resource for mutations?
    I'll go in depth with mutations and the DNA.

    Hello sir
    I have a doubt
    Is it mutation that causes variation?
    But in the case of red beetles cant we say that it had both the traits like the red and green?
    But red being dominant and green was being recessive
    And then as generation passed on obviously there was changes so colour changed to green
    And with natural selection most of the red beetles were eaten
    So the green beetle(solo) had to breed with red one
    And it inturn would produce red and green beetles [genes and stuff]
    So basically what i mean to say is green beetles were a result of the colour trait that was already present the red beetle

    How dramatic can a mutation be according to evolution?

  • @jacoabtweed789
    @jacoabtweed789 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hum, I'm not sure if it's really evolution, just mutation and adaptation.
    What do you think?

    Just to point it out, isn't that definition of evolution, actually of natural selection?

    • @soumil8988
      @soumil8988 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Evolution is the creation of diversity out of existing species. Natural selection or selection of organisms acc. To nature. So natural selection is the ultimate cause of evolution

    Eyes colur changes because of variations no because of mutation

    • @KhanAcademyIndiaEnglish
      @KhanAcademyIndiaEnglish  5 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      Correct. But variations are caused by changes in DNA, which is called mutation.
