    📌 DIHYBRID CROSS is the cross of genes where there are two or more than two traits are considered together .
    📌 Law of INDEPENDENCE ASSORTMENT states that the alleles of one gene are independent from the alleles of the another gene.

    • @umermukadam8498
      @umermukadam8498 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Its two plants here, You need to cross them first, after you do that then you will get f1 generation with traits RrYy, Then we self pollinate this to find f2 generation, So we need to follow law of independent assortment which says that genes are sorted independently and traits of one gene don't depend on the other, Due to this we get 4 sperm possibilities for self pollination and those exact same possibilites in eggs, for sperms we have : RY,ry(these are possible ones and the other two are rY and Ry, Same possibilites for egg. Now you see the possible fertilizations and write them out on the table, For example RY as sperm and another RY as egg, Multiply them and you have your first combo, Then RY sperm has the possibility to combine with other three remaining eggs which are ry, Ry and rY. Hope this helped you.
