For those who wondered; the singer is credited as "Talia" in the booklet. It may be an artist name. Spellforce 2 has an even better soundtrack, but this has to be the finest piece of music Tillman Sillescu & Pierre Langer have ever produced.
I've heard tons of soundtracks before but this one proved to be one of the if not the best OST in any game. All the songs have such a great quality, they always blend in cinematically with the action of the game itself and enrich the game experience. Also theme songs (such as this one) always meld with their subject until you cannot think of another song to be used with that character or place and sound as perfect (PS: i've never heard in my life a menu song to be so beautiful and haunting)

please .. if you like games, play it .. you will be enchanted .. its so amazing good, I everytme get chills everywhere, how good this game is, its just divine a gift from the gods them self if I would be a spellforce citizen I would say now 'by Aonir's light !!' its damm good damm good !

I pulled the entire soundtrack from the game, and made a playlist with these songs in the foremost positions... also included are Enya's Boadicea, and Loreena Mckinnett's Book of Secrets. Love this sound so much, and couldn't see the game having anything else as they all fit so perfectly. Wonderful music for reading, and sleeping to, not to mention to add to any game that even has the slightest Medieval feel to it. Replacing the music that comes with those games :P

I just realized that the language that is sung in this song is of ancint origin, spuds like a mix of geilic, the ancient Irish language, and ancient Russian, the language of my people and ancestors before me... Correct me of I'm wrong... I'm just trying to get an idea of what these types of games languages have in common.

I really suck. I found this song and just listen to it in techno version by Denga & Manus for a couple of weeks and thinked "This really sounds like something out of Spellforce" And it turns out to be from spellforce! XD (I've only played Spellforce 2 demo)
