    Just curious about the pump.. did you switch it out to the old style to bring up the pressure?. I have 2010 version of this tranny in a Chrysler 300 and shifts hard once in a while.. otherwise I love it..

      I used to do that on every rebuild but have had some that had pressure issues and switching back to the original style fixed it, so I don't do it anymore. Don't know why but I don't have time for the problems.

    How similar are these transmissions compared to the 32re? I can't seem to locate a rebuild video for a 32re.

      There is no 32re. I think you're mistaken What is the year , make and model vehicle?

      Ok, so we are talking about the 3 speed tranny. It is totally different than this one. It will be the same as the TF6 ( TorqueFlite 6 ). I have a video on that if you need one. It is an RH unit. It works hydraulically. As far as the shifting goes, the lock up function on it is electrical. The 42RLE is basically an A606 just made into a rear wheel drive.
