1st job, some people want to be in and out as quick as poss, so the extra mins not carrying out a flue integrity check is time saved for them. but it takes minutes and is important to carry out. two flex connections on the gas meter on the second job, some previous operatives have not been checking. good job you had a bit of room under the boards though. not a bad few jobs.

What do you charge for a gas saftey check? As it can take some time if down properly.. guys near me in bardford are charge £30 which I think is far to cheap. I charge £70, I don't get many as everyone says its expensive, but they can let the £30 guy do them for all I care.

Thanks Brendan, I charge £80. Like you said we have drive-by certs being done £20-30. Let them crack on, more work for us when things go wrong!

Only take they brushes to boilers out of warrenty. Vaillant will void it if they think you hav used one and its easy to tell

Good work, that gas run looked like a pain in the arse job. Sometimes if they had an outside wall would been easier to run pipe along outside wall. Not so good if a terrace house.

Yeah I was hoping for that but it's terraced so gonna have to look to run it behind the kitchen units!
