Please as regards the intended date of travel,can i select 6 months ahead ..for example my application submission date was june ,can i indicate December as my travel date?
Yes, you can. Because the visa validity will be based on your travel date. Example you wish to travel from August 1 to December 15, 2024 (the embassy will issue validity of the visa based on that) - means you cannot travel early too. Just make sure that all date are consistent on the application form, travel insurance, ticket, and accommodation booking.

Hi, it is advisable to booked 120 days. And this should match with your travel date, and travel insurance. If you are worry about the fees, I created a video how you can book a proof of accommodation for free.

If you are not EU citizen, yes you can apply. You can try to check in VFS there in the UK or it should be file directly with the Embassy of Portugal.

@jeromebuthello9318 Ideally your accommodation booking must not exceed 120 days. We booked ours for 118 days. Because that is the initial days of Jobseeker Visa. Keep in mind also that the amount of accommodation must be realistic against your proof of financial resources.

You should start check in VFS website if the VFS in your country is authorized to process this kind of visa in your country. All requirements, you will find it as well in VFS website. If not, you will have to ask the Embassy of Portugal in your country or authorized to process applications a nationality like yours.

Please, my appointment date is 23rd May 2024 and in my travel medical insurance the validity starts from 2nd May, hope it won't affect my application? Because I didn't choose a date that corresponds with my expected date of arrival?
Call the insurance company to change the date. Check how days the visa processing and your travel date date muat be outside ng visa processing time.
Example your appointment is May 23 and visa processinf is 60 days. Count 60 days from May 23 and set a travel after that date. Change the date to be the same on ticket, travel insurance, accommodation, and date in the application from

Yes, as long as you round trip ticket, travel insurance is one month. Must be consistent

You can download the "draft contract" without paying rent. Or the property must require it. Find other property

Check the description of my video. I updated the list of requirements. Check with your embassy too if they changed it or still the same. But in MOFA website they changed it to "Own Statement of Estimated Stay"

However, this is specifically for Filipino applying for this kind of visa from the Philippines.
You should start check in VFS website if the VFS in your country is authorized to process this kind of visa in your country. All requirements, you will find it as well in VFS website. This is a major requirements. You will be denied if you dont have funds. How are you supposed to pay your rent, food, transpo in Portugal? You need to have at least €2460 in your account.
