You can switch the position on the Thrunite, which makes it a deeper carry. And it's USB-C, not Micro-USB.

i absolutely love my m2t warrior. I feel its a very under rated and often overlooked out of the olight family

Thank you for sharing. I prefer the less aggressive texture, stainless steel side button. I always run my clips 90° to switch so it is second nature for my thumb to fall on switch regardless of make/model. TT20 resembles m2r, m2r pro more in my opinion. Love the m2r pro and this tt20 is going to end up in my cart.

I agree - it's more like the M2R Pro - just wanted to mix it up in a comparison.

Thanks for this video. I've got the Olight M2T and really like it but you make some very good points about charging it. FYI Olight has discontinued the M2T. Thanks

Curious to see how it does against a M2R warrior pro. Battery and size wise it's more comparable to the flagship.

No mention of tail switch on TT20 and operation and clip on TT20 can be installed as it's on M2T...

The m2r pro would of been closer in lumens and same battery. Should of used that one

Personally, the M2R Warrior is the way to go for me. But without a doubt this video should have been against the M2R Warrior Pro. That said from the magnetic capability (which I can't begin to tell you how many times it's pulled clutch!), the charging capability to charge as you carry it, the non-deteriorating tail-cap being metal versus the rubber. As well as the versatility of the 18650 or CR123... Olight is a clear winner.

@@BurntPlaydoh- The same method could be asked about the charger. What about IPhone users? They have to have a proprietary cable to charge the Micro USB flashlight.
There's always an argument to be made or stance. There are multiple methods in which to replenish the power source in electronics. Two is one and one is none. I don't utilize the magnetic charger although I do have multiple chargers for Olights. I have multiple 18650s, multiple cr123s and battery banks. So an attempt to call a charging cable proprietary is null. Your situation dictates tactics. The logical choice is the newer model for nearly all users. And oddly enough other TH-camrs that done this review of the Thrunite light (after my comment I might add) compared the light to the M2R.

don't know which one is, "better" but i just received my tt20 and after having owned a fenix pd36r for the last couple of years i am pleasantly surprised. SWEET edc light and comes with lots of thoughtful extras in the box for a good price.

also the clip on the mt2 can be moved and works better for wearing on your hat in the other position

You convinced me, have a tt20 on the way. Thank you sir. And it uses a USB C not micro USB

Why are you comparing a brand new model with a discontinued model?
The comparisonn should have been with the M2R Pro Warrior.

I think it would have been more fitting to run the tt20 against the m2r pro as it's closer in comparison spec wise

Is the quality of thrunite on par with olight? Reliability wise?

I bought one Olight and wasn't happy with it tbh. Wasn't particularly bright, possibly some of the modes weren't working - probably just a dud, these things happen. I've got two Thrunites and just bought another for a friend's birthday - zero issues. The TC20 gets used the most, had it over a year now, and it's been dropped, fallen on, gotten wet, zero issues. Gets used literally every night to walk the dog. Would recommend them for sure.
