I so love seeing Joel happy and excited, I hope he never stops showing his enthusiasm and passion
I'm admittedly not very experienced in singing or beatboxing, but I do the hand thing all the time, it helps me hit the notes better. It's a weird brain thing, where in my mind different notes and stuff are located in different places, so if I try to do a vocal roll I move my hand up and down with it. It's almost involuntary

@@RoomieOfficial I think that it depends on how you utilize the technology. A lot of people leverage off the equipoment and let it do their work for them. Tom uses it to produce music thats technically impossible to generate with just his mouth, but there is still a lot of technicality around the noises he makes. TLDR, hes using the looping station to compliment his ability, rather than leaning on it. And Kudos to you for being open minded about it, glad you like his performance (you should check out his competition work, its incredible)

The Human Sample Kit Experiment is one of his videos he did i believe its about 4 years ago now but Tom is one of the best. he has done so much and come up with so many sounds he even has basic tutorials to help ppl that want to learn bbox
dude has spent a LOT of time studying trumpets. he's got a good bit of the attack perfected, the valve noises and the register changes all are incredible. YO he's even got the timbre changes when the dynamics change.
i think joel's current obsession over beatboxing comes from his desire to look younger.
but also i guess that beatboxing is not so famous now. It was famous exaclty when Joel was young so

That was BRILLIANT! I had never heard a beat boxer performance where they make horn & WHISTLE sounds that was too GOOD, he incorporated SO MUCH into his beat boxing BRAVO TOM THUM!
