Why do you not use permanent coloring?

@@studiotsalon1918 So if I dyed my piece from blonde to brown with a Revlon colorsilk box, which I did and it came out to brassy, orange and light, not matching my hair. Would you recommend I try a darker color of the same level to try and match it better? Because I have been advised to use a permanent color by a hair stylist and have the product, but am nervous to try it and you make it sound like a bad idea overall.

sammmuel Spaul I would highly recommend that you have a professional hair stylist color your piece. The color you buy in stores is harsher on the hair. You also asking a color theory question. There’s lots of things I would have to know before I could answer and not being familiar with box colors it makes it impossible to know...
I would find a stylist who will use semi/ Demi color on it. Hope this helps ❤️
