Wanted to share my results with you.
Yesterday I used my phone from 5:45am till around 10pm, with a total of 5 hours 58 minutes of screen time. Went to bed with 16% left. The last thing I had done was watch this video and change some though not all the settings.
Today I used my phone a lot more. From 5:45 am till now, about 10pm, screentime was 9 hours 20 minutes, and I'm at 17% battery.
This is Galaxy S10+, pretty shocking results overall.

that was excellent...it showed me some settings that other videos didn't ...thanks.
Under advanced features you can limit animations. I've checked, and this actually changes the setting that you showed in the developer options. It sets it to the .5 option. This is just a quicker way to reduce animations than having to open up developer options. Also, in accessibility there is an option to shut off animations. This actually changed the developer option to "off".
Every video I have watched by you on the s10 I'm just blown away by all the customizations and enhancements this device is capable of!

Setting animation to 0.5x in developer options is brilliant. Also instead of setting visibility enhancements, one can set up Wind Down mode for the times , when its not in use

That optimisation setting where at midnight it drops you're screen resolution and screen time out when your not using your phone is that really any use. If your not using your your screen will be off anyway. I did have that on but was not sure if it did anything

Hi there! I bought Samsung Galaxy S10 3 days ago and I am having a serious issue with an internet connection. I used T-Mobile as my internet provider, which the same as you are using right now. My previous galaxy s8's internet speed was 5.4 MB for download, but now I have only 1.2 MB. Sometimes, it does not have any connection at all. I tried all the settings that you recommend in this video, but It didn't work at all. Do you have any recommended actions for this issue? please someone help me

Love reducing animations down to 0.5 now from developer mode, everything's so much snappier and makes the phone feel faster. There's an option for reducing animations in the normal settings somewhere but I don't too k that's the same thing, since I turned that one but noticed a massive difference with these faster settings

thanks for your helpful tips. I having Consumer Cellular cell phone service, have Samsung S10e phone and recently they switched from T mobile sim cards, to AT&T sim cards; ever since, my calls have been dropping often. Any thoughts? I'm thinking I have a defective sim card?

I did what you suggested on you r video I think it was 30 things to do to my s10 but when I was finished I could no longer text picks so I had to call my service to help me get that back. what did I do wrong to create this problem?
Some of these changes have made my battery life, I am watching this to change all the settings back again.

I did this when I first got my phone and I felt like it helped. Well, I had to file a claim and got another phone. Now, I know it works. I just followed your steps again. I will be testing this new phone out tomorrow because my battery went down faster today than my old one ever did.
Really, I was thinking of making a claim and getting another one too cause the battery drained by 5% with one app open in less than 5 minutes and it was only hours old

@@leyakamanya4570 yes, I'd recommend doing these tips. I would use my phone pretty much all day at work texting talking, watching TH-cam, and using social media for at least 5 hours nonstop on a single charge. I also like the fact that you can set it to not use the battery so much if you fall asleep and forget to plug it up. That's the best part for me
7:30 secs before I saw a percentage drop that's very good yours better than mine. Was very good the first week now I see the percentage drop faster reason why I am here watching on my s10 plus prism white .

@@robertkarlsson7238 Go to build number and tap it until you have a developer options. Once you got the option, scroll down until you see animations and just turn all three options off

I just got this phone yesterday after returning 2 S10e with wobbly power buttons. S10 is so much better and I love the curved display.

Does anyone else’s Samsung galaxy s10+ use google play services in the background like all day even when app isn’t been opened at all, how do I stop this and why isit using so much of my battery
I always thought white backgrounds were better because you can turn down the brightness but with black, it's not as blinding so your brightness would be up higher, sucking more power. How about a video on that?
I used a number of these tips. I only got the phone on 4 days ago, the day before Good Friday (so it was a Good Thursday too) and I was playing with my 'new toy' all weekend and taking it on and off the charging dock all that time, so today is the first day that it will actually be sat next to me on my desk and left relatively untouched. I'm hoping it will still be on more than 50% when I leave work tonight.

I charge my S10 overnight and occasionally it isn't fully charged of a morning, possibly due to charging stopping during the night, but I generally start at 7am with 100% and end the day at 11pm with about 40%. I don't watch movies other that TH-cam postings on it or play anything more taxing than sudoku or word games on it, so not sure if I'm a typical power user. I do use make moderate use of camera though. All round good phone.

So does Sleeping apps actually work? I put most of my apps to sleep but I still get notifications from them despite the warning that sleeping apps might not get notifications. And despite putting TH-cam to sleep several days ago, it still has 6 hours of background activity. So what gives?
I have the S10 and I dont see some of the options under wifi advanced!
I’m curious why your suggestion is to only shut off Bluetooth scanning. Why not WiFi scanning, too? My understanding is if you have WiFi turned off this will turn it on if there is a known WiFi source, but won’t shut WiFi off when it’s out of range. Like I said, that’s my understanding, but I’d love to verify this. Thanks in advance for your help.
I'll give these suggestions a try. I've only had my S10 plus for 4 days but I'm rather shocked at how quickly the battery drains and I'm a light phone user.

Fyi I turned off that location services bluetooth setting before but I just checked it and it was on again.... weird
Which theme available for save battery original theme or 3rd party theme..
for apps pre install just download ADB fastbootloader and you can delete ANY app on the phone. its super simple to do and way better then getting package disabler etc
@@MrGuillermoVega idk what you mean by "regular consumer" am not super savvy on phones and I did it super simple. As a matter of fact that was the 1st time i heard about it looked up a quick guide followed step by step and then i just deleted all the apps i wanted to delete.
