Personally I use the edge panel to keep my home screen clutter free. I keep my main used apps there and the quick tools available there (gif maker, level, ruler etc) are handy

Lol I'm watching this on my S8+ to prepare myself for what I will need to do on my S10+ and almost all of these tricks actually also work on my S8+ so you helped me out to make my S8+ even better!
I'm left handed so when i go to landscape mode i turn the phone to the right, power button on the bottom putting the cutout at the bottom right. I think that makes the cutout even less noticeable as darker content is usually at the bottom , ground , sea vegetation etc . The way i see everyone else using it puts the cutout in the brighter areas like the sky and that makes the cutout really stand out but still less annoying than a notch which always intersects the horizontal or vertical axis so whenever you look up , left or right you see the notch. With the cutout at the bottom i find i totally forget about it. I mean how many times have you stepped in dog shit because you weren't looking down !

Subbed. Also, I recommend putting the device into high performance mode. It boosts the resolution to qhd+, but also increases the brightness by 10% and increases overall performance. Makes the display and user experience so much better.

You can also turn on this option of allowing a downward gesture anywhere on your home screen to bring down the notification panel which I find super useful on the larger s10 plus.
I finally left my Iphn 6S plus have been using since it was released and got tired of it due to the battery which sucks on iphn and now Im so happy I got s10 plus and being a new user of android I loved your video great tips👍🏻

In the display part of the settings you can make your fingerprint scanner more sensitive to your finger touch, thought that might be useful
This is genuinely interesting. As someone worried they wont like android, small changes like this are really nice to know. The bixby button to get to the clock is great. I set about 10 alarms a day.

I love the edge panel just cause I like keeping my screens pretty clean, maybe have a widget or two on a 2bd screen then keep all my fav apps on the edge. The one thing I'm really missing though is the LED. Hoping an update will give us some more customization with notifications and changing the size of these icons.

So i am very happy with it that much space is wonderful, the performance is good too but i have to say that the camera isn't very good when you are at a dark place it gets really pixaleted. But at all o would give it a 10 out of 10. Im on Vacation right now and the battery life is doing great even tho i use it all time.

The edge panel is very useful to me, apps I use frequently but don't want on my main and frequent contacts go there 🤷🏿♂️

I use edge panels all the time, super useful to get to frequently used apps without cluttering your home screen. Part of the reason i've upgraded to an s10 from an s8. rather than a 6t on mate 20 pro.
1:05 I literally go for gestures everytime I pick someone else's phone up now lol. It's second nature now and it's nice not to see those icons at the bottom taking up unnecessary screen real estate.

All of the gestures etc. Also work on the s8 because I have an s8 and I had an update a few weeks ago and now I can change edge lighting, gestures, landscaping home screen, etc.

With guestures you can also quickly Swype to the right on the home gesture hint to quickly move back to the last app (like double pressing recents) or longer Swype to access recent apps on a Swype motion. Great for one handed mode.

A great alternative for the Samsung gestures is "Fluid Navigation Gestures" on the play store.
It requires a bit of adb code (doesn't void the warranty and the app has instructions on how to use it).
They are, in my opinion, way more natural and offer a true gesture experience.
