I bought my mini 6 on release. Never had this issue until today. Step one fixed the issue Do you know what causes this for future reference? So maybe I can avoid what causes this

I was super disappointed when this did not work but after holding the power and home button it did (gen 4 mini) so if you have a ipad mini 4 make sure to hold the power button as well. Thanks so much @WorldofTech .

The freezer thing worked when nothing else did! I was so close to not doing it. But it worked. 20 mins in freezer then a hard reset
