Ohk to starting from the start one day my ipad 2 suddenly stopped charging and i kept it away but now when i need it....i tried several hacks but nothing worked....it was charging when it is switched off but not charging when it is switched on so i was charging it like that only from like past 3 weeks but now its now even charging like that....i can feel the current flowing in my ipad from the back side of its metal body but even after keeping it in charge whole night not even a single percent increases...i tried this heating hack but it started showing that 'your ipad needs to cool down before using'....pls healp me what should i do i really need a ipad for my studies to review pdf and cant afford a new one right now

@Andreyshunt yup it did, the logo disappeared because the ipad actually switched off since it was on just 1%, so after putting it on charge for longer it did start working well
Interesting video. Got 2 old iPads from a garage sale recently and they both after charging for a while display the Apple logo. Once unplug it just dies even though it would say 86% battery. I don't mind trying to use the hair dryer but since the insides of the iPad are pretty fragile, probably don't want to do that. Might be time to pay like $80+ for a shop to replace the battery or something to play around with in learning to do it yourself.
This happens because they were left with an empty battery for a long time, a month or more, or for days in all those years of usage. Batteries die when you have 0% of battery (displaying for us, of course, but there is more juice in the battery) we just can't use it. It's for safety reasons.

@@whydoeseveryusernamegottak9885 I saw a video where this repair guy in NY said the charging port isn’t great and sometimes get pushed in and the connection isn’t great or the solder needs to be redone on the ports of charger. The idea is the dryer is melting the soldering to the connectors and cools down to make a “better” connection. My iPad however crashed on there update and it’s bricked. So nothing will work. Cheap apple resolve is to turn it in and pay for a refurbished one while they fix mine to sell as a refurbished one to someone else. Pretty crappy apple doesn’t just fix simple things.

You can always give it a try but since your battery is completely dead you probably need to charge it for like 24 hours
Or you can just charge it for like an hour or two and then try feeding it up like pretty hot you know and then try plugging it in again
