In this episode, Hari M. R. fulfils his promise, and shares the plan of his low-cost, environment-friendly house at Puliyarakonam. It was built with the help and support of Sudhir, his artist-friend, and Madhu, his mason-friend. The site, with its steep incline, posed a tremendous challenge but the construction team was able to put up the house without altering the landscape or damaging the environment.

Sir,വീടും ചുറ്റുപാടും വളരെ മനോഹരമായിരിക്കുന്നു.ഒരു reply കണ്ടിരുന്നു, തറ യോട് ആണ് flooring ന് ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് എന്ന്, black granite ആണോ ആണോ ടൈൽസ് നു ചുറ്റും കാണുന്നത്?Unglazed ടെറാക്കോട്ട ടൈൽസ് ആണോ? അതുപോലെ joints fill ചെയ്യുന്നതിന് സിമൻ്റ് grout ആണോ അഥവാ എതെങ്കിലും epoxy ആണോ ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്?

I am not aware of any particular place from where you can buy them . There are shops where dismantled parts of old houses are sold.I was lucky to spot an old traditional house being demolished and so was able to buy them.

പുരയിടം(വീടല്ല) ഇതുപോലെ പരിപാലിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുനടക്കാൻ ശ്രമകരവും നല്ല പൈസ ചിലവും ആണ്. അതു കൂടെ ഒന്ന് പ്രതിപാദിച്ചാ ൽ നന്നായിരുന്നു.
