    Really cool your visiting my home country of Montenegro my friend. I been to Ulcijn once before its much more quiet and laid back. I personally prefer Budva more for the beaches, girls, cafes, and nightclubs, it is a lot more expensive however so just be prepared to have stacks of euros on hand.

    Brother that place is so beautiful special in summer. I've been there so many times and I enjoyed every moment of it. Visiting the old town gives you a feel of the old old days although it's full of shops and restaurants you can still see the age of the place. The huge pizza they sell inside for about 3.50 euros is enough to get you though the day. Nice video.

    Because Ulqin was part of Albania until a century ago and Ulqin was part of Albania since antiquity even the castle there was built by Illyrians (Albanians). Even today is like Ulqin is like unofficial part of Albania since Albanians control the city, Even albnians from Albania cross the border in Ulqin without documents or anything

    • @anotheraccount2052
      @anotheraccount2052 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      MarinoZajmi so we Montenegrin cross the border without papers as well.... Albania will never have the beautiful Ulqin back we Montenegrins will always have Ulqin! Albanians may be a majority but more and more are proclaiming themselves as Montenegrins that Albanians! Trust me in that!

    • @The.steppenWolf
      @The.steppenWolf 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Peter 1234 Ulqin is Albanian and will never be Montenegro. It was taken by force from Albania with the help of western powers.
      The population there is and forever will be Albanian.

    • @anotheraccount2052
      @anotheraccount2052 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yllion Dardania LOL please! Taken okay taken best thing that ever happened to the “Albanians” in “Ulqin” at least spell it right Ulcjini the actual spelling. Of course there is an Albanian population but you can’t deny the big changes the population has made over the last 100 years speaking a more Slavic Albanian and speaking albanian and Serbian I have cousins there that don’t even understand albanian and only speak Serbian so of it was stolen from your dreams of “Greater Albania” then you will forever never have it as most people there have changed for the better

    • @anotheraccount2052

      That is too much, i am Montenegrin who lives abroad. On vacation i never pay more than 10 euro for an avarage room as that one in the begining of this clip. Specialy not in Ulcinj, its a shitty place to be! For 35 euro i usualy stay in Petrovac in a VERY nice and modern flat with a pool outside.

    • @GabrielTravelerVideos
      @GabrielTravelerVideos  7 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Glad to hear it looks good. I'm mostly happy with it, except for a few things: there's no zoom, it doesn't do well in low lighting, the audio records a little too quiet and I find the image quality looks a bit flat. So for the price it's absolutely worth it, but there are certainly better cameras out there.

    • @enterthevoidIi
      @enterthevoidIi 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hmm okay. It looks good to me, I haven't noticed the things you mentioned. I checked the prices and that camera should be around 70$ which is really cheap and it seems that it works well with 60FPS.

      Younger population speaks English very well but older people usually don't. In general, you shouldn't have any problems in restaurants and shops because usually speaking English is required for a job in tourist cities. If you decide for Northern part of tbe country (mountains, nature and hiking instead of the sea and old towns) there are usually older people but I don't think language is a problem here

    Hi Hope you have time to answer a few questions about Solvenia, Croatia, Montenegro . I`m beginning to plan a month long trip Oct 20 thur Nov 20 2021 landing in Zagreb. First going to Lake Bled .Then 4 days at a time down the coast also inland parks. At that time of year is this off season ? Roughly what prices should I expect to pay for logging with in 5 miles of the coast lodging . And if I`m outside the bigger citys . Will I have trouble finding a place without reservations. Also do you see many bicyclist. I would like to bike half that trip . Day trips not touring bike packing. Thanks I enjoy these videos

    • @GabrielTravelerVideos
      @GabrielTravelerVideos  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's low season so you'll have no problem finding accommodation, you can book it last minute. Prices will vary, check booking.com or airbnb. I don't remember seeing any cyclists when I was there but I'm sure it's doable.

    Nice place Gabe !! But I think I'd have to be in a lot better shape if I was going to have a few brews and walk all the way back up to those rooms. But when have you ever heard of the beach being up hill. Thanks nice one. Cheers

    10:26 , I don't understand why are you surprised, or do you think that ,, there is an opposition with tourists, sunday and "Muezzin, Islam Praying"??
    Well I am Turkish, in Istanbul, 7 days a week or even 365 days a year,, we have "Church Bells" banging even on "Fridays" and nobody finds it strange.. Not to forget to tell, we had nearly 15 million tourists in 2017 in Istanbul..
    Have a nice journey.. and do not skip Turkey..!!! As I am following you..!! :-)
