With this freeze coming and my onions from y'all are still quite young with several new leaves, do I need to mulch them with straw or will they be ok in below freezing temps? Thanks much!
@@gardeningwithhoss Thanks! our lowest last night was 25. They did fine. I plan to mulch them tomorrow with straw bc we have some snow possibly on Thursday. 😫😖 I just don’t want to lose them. Everything looked GREAT 2 days ago. I hate cold. 🥶
I was just thinking about this stuff today because where I live at in Kentucky. We have got nothing but rain for the last 3 days, and we're expecting rain for the next week. My garlic is taking a pounding.I'm afraid i'm going to lose it.
Great information 😊. Thanks for sharing 💚👨🏿🌾
Thanks for watching!
They smell soooo good driving by em or sauté them

@gardeningwithhoss ok. I was wondering what I did wrong and what magic fertilizer I needed to buy from you. 😂

They will be fine , unless it gets under 20. Then I would cover.
Mulch with straw around the bulbs. Onions are good down to about 20 degrees F.
