@@alanphillips8720 If you don't mindme asking, is access to the gearbox oil filler through the wheel arch (by removing panels) or from above? I have a new style 2014 1.6 Diesel.
@@QHOfC yes it's got a plastic screwplug on the side of the gearbox. Mines a 2litre 07 vivaro but 💯 % your access is through the wheelarch liner and undertray removal. 👍
I have a vivaro B, top mounts on both sides are knocking, I have the new ones, just need to do the work. I'm hoping the suspension is similar to the suspension in this video
Done exactly as you did, but the disk under the top nut is sitting about 8-10mm high. Any ideas please? Took it apart took photos of everything and everything the same apart from this
I've done all this, but still have a knocking noise on my van, on rough roads. All components checked and it's passed it's MOT, what can it be please? Bria (Dover)
You made it very simple not like other videos 👍
As always great instructions for those who need to do this repair.
Great vid. The end wasn't bad either!
Great video, only problem i had was the driveshaft popping out the gearbox and oil leaking out, 👍
I assume if this happens no permanent damage is done? It happened to me and all seems to be OK - just asking if seals can get damaged?
@@QHOfC , As long as your careful replacing the driveshaft and top the gearbox oil back up should be fine. 👍

Thank you 👍🏻
Nice work mate.. made that look easy… to fit new shock would you just compress spring and undo nuts..? Cheers

Here is a link on a similar style McPherson Strut where we compress a spring onto the shock
Brilliant video thanks for sharing this 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
