- It was a December weekend 2024 and I met Graham Newport at Loch Ard. I haven't seen Graham for years... we used to do a lot of kayaking in Scotland and France...the chances of meeting him at Loch Ard. Great to catch up with him whilst I went canoeing Loch Ard.
Thanks for watching the video, PLEASE give it a thumbs up if you have enjoyed it? 👍👍👍 🥰😍

Magical! I heartily agree about the sense of accomplishment and satisfaction after having set up a shelter. Nothing quite like it. Making these videos gives you an extra dimension to your excursions-I may have to try it sometime. Cheers, James!
One of our favourites setting out from Kinlochard, straight through and down the narrows. Amazing rock wall formations down at bottom end. Behind the island is the remnant of a cranog.....👍👍😁
Cheers - yes, it's such a lovely place. Never grows old.

Love the Ard. Still have the pics I took sitting on my yak at 6am one summer morning and it was magical.
Nice one.
Another beautiful loch with some amazing spots to stop and admire.
Great video mate, and the tarp looked well pitched 👍👍🛶
Cheers mate...hee hee I'm still learning the tarps, but loving it.

You’re giving me itchy feet to get out again soon. I’m going to have to plan a little cold weather trip. Great scenery and the equipment set up is top notch. How are you finding the single end paddle? All the best.
Trust me, get out for a paddle, you'll feel all the better for it.
The single blade, for me is fine. I did a lot of experimenting when kayaking (using a double blade) and trying to 'stay on one blade'.
Rivers are slightly different, there are times I try and switch to the other blade, when it's not there...LOLs.
Thanks for the comment.
