It's like you are tearing down the veil of banjo secrecy and wiki-leaking it to the world. Thanks, and much appreciated!

Hell yes, another rock solid Mr. Rick production! This one is going straight to the pool room!

That melody without the rolls? Most instruments would JUST HAVE TO PLAY THAT! It's us banjo pickers who have to do all that extra stuff! Don't let your bandmates forget it! Thanks for another great pickin' science lesson, Mr. M!

What an excellent lesson Ricky. I have been looking for this type of lesson for a long time and am really pumped about finding you!!! Its hard to find banjo teachers in the UK that do this kind of stuff. I don't like tab so much but like to work out what roll fits with what melody notes on the tunes that i play by ear, and this is really really helpful. Will definately be signing up to your patreon site and am looking forwards to more lessons like this. Excellent and well done!!!!

This is great. It would be good to have more of this. Looking at the melody section you have, if you were to do your own arrangement with the isorythmation technique, how would you choose the notes for the rolls that happen around the melody notes? Also, are the melody notes typically played with the thumb for emphasis?

That is a good question but I can't answer that in text :D
