I do like that Big Burger went out of his way to sponsor a band called Richter so that he could use his earthquake machine. He probably could've gone for any of the other bands in the competition; but he wanted to stay on theme. I can appreciate that.

I remember as a kid going to eat breakfast at some sort of Masonic temple, and they had sugar cubes there. Also I’m pretty sure horses can eat sugar cubes

I don't find them terrifying or horrifying. Maybe you need 3D glasses to truly appreciate the design though.
Although, power of suggestion, as the story progresses they look increasingly creepy even when seen from behind.
The McDonalds Happy Meal Box Monster though, now that is really creepy, gives me the willies every time I see it. And yes, it is the mouth.

My only criticism for this comic is that the Lady Raisins should've been called the Raisenets.
This marketing was for Sun-maid. Raisinets is a Nestle brand. It wouldn't be an option.

I somewhat remember the Lady Raisins on a video tape mum and dad had, and to answer the question I'm sure would come, yeah, from what I remember, they were just as disturbing looking in claymation form.

Officially, the raisins are AC, Beebop, Red, Zoot, and Stretch. But three of them were also named by the public in a contest, which is where Ben Indasun comes from (along with Justin X. Grape and Tiny Goodbtite)

I was alive for the 'height' of the California Raisins. They had a cartoon, the comics, the commercials. Not too bad, since I remember them even now.

If you want a good WTF 40k comic, get Deff Skwadron because of it’s focus on da Orks. It includes a story called story called secret weapon with a plane that would make Rob Liefeld cream his pants. And as to how it can fly? Well... it’s Ork tech. If Orks believe it can fly, it’ll fly. Trying to explain it beyond would make trying to explain quantum physics seem like something for kindergarten.

I couldn't think of a worse idea for a comic than the California raisins. Except a Teletubbies comic.
The one raisin being called "Ben Indasun" sounds like he began life as a suicidal grape.

Wearing those red and blue 3D glasses, I barely even noticed any 3D effects in the first story, but I noticed it more in the second one, yet it basically just made all the characters look like cardboard cutouts.
If raisins are made from dried grapes, then are these guys born as grapes and then left out in the sun to suffer horribly as children? They must have some major issues.

Let's not forget those figurines they put out. At one point, I had the first two sets from Hardees. My mother and grandma both would insist that I needed to save them as they'd be worth a lot of money. But a quick eBay search shows that you can get any set for dirt cheap.

Ethan Freeman basically, 3D comics use red and blue ink and draw every image twice, overlapping each other. Then you use glasses with cellophane in the same colors and its supposed to make the image pop as if it were 3D

the characters in this world are sapient food and other usually innanimate objects, who have a terrifying appearance but aren't necessarly mean-spirited, their society runs on a foreign logic, and their reality is inconsistent to the point that you could argue it's potentially falling appart?

That blue/red image split thing type of 3D has always given me headaches. Parallax, such as on the 3DS, on the other hand works great for me.

So with Big Burger’s bs plan where should we put that on the list of dumbest plans we’ve ever seen on this show? I’m thinking between Dr Know’s plan in Future 5 and Superman telling that kid to tell the drug dealers that he’s keeping an eye on them after he set their stash on fire in Superman #701. Speaking of, how many stupid plans have we covered on this show, I’ve lost count after Marville.
This comic series seems to be using generic raisins instead of the four distinct characters from the specials and cartoon series. Not to mention the actual villains used in the second special and series. No Lick Broccoli or Leonard Limabean. It looks like they attempted Rudy the agent, but had no clue what he looked like. And yeah, cartoon and specials? Only sentient vegetables and fruits exist.

So the raisins are essentially a living head with arms and legs attached, but the orange and carrot were just the head, with full human bodies beneath them, including secondary sexual features. What is the evolutionary pattern of produce based life forms.
Also, are there living grapes? Are there raisins actually senior citizens or do some grapes simply choose to dry themselves out and BECOME raisins?
This is why silly marketing gimmicks need to remain silly marketing gimmicks and not have their worlds' expanded upon (lookin' at you Kool-Aid man).

Loved the episode, despite not watching it yet. Also today is my birthday and what good luck that a AT4W episode aired on my birthday. Also this will surely be better than food fight.
Also could you review The New Adventures of Megaman, a Brazilian Comic licensed by Capcom that was written by someone who hated video games and didn't care about Megaman, features incest, a character named Princess made by the writer called Roll a...Retodd as I would put it, features continuity problems with the games and characters which wouldn't be a problem if it was a reboot...but it's actually a sequel that takes place years later, nearly everyone is dead with Dr Wily dropping a atom bomb on Dr Light's lab killing everyone, bad artwork and Roll being naked alot I the comic. Plus remember that character the writer made earlier that called Roll and Retodd, well he actually intended for this new character to kill off the cast and become the new star of the book with her also showing that the writer thought that American comics we're trash and we're ruining Brazilian comics. Geez, not even Frank Millar flat out insulted a entire industry, of which he works for, for a country, calling it trash.
And all of this was licensed by Capcom and well. If you can't tell how bad it is, well every issue they had a contest for the fans, unexperienced artists, where the winner would do the art for the next issue.
Now thankfully the writer was kicked off by Capcom before he could pull off his plan to kill off the whole cast but the damage to the series had already been done and the series ended after 16 issues
