Omg I love the tip with the curling, to curl slow at the roots and fast at the ends. Such an easy trick that I never thought of! Always gets the curls just at the bottom... But not ANYMORE!

I know I‘m not a professional like her. But I absolutely love the colored batiste dry shampoo. I just use that all over and since it smells like hairspray, which I hate, I just spray a bit of the batiste cheeky cheery over top. I makes my hair smell amazing 😉

Kayley, would you consider maybe doing some hairstyles for people with disabilities? I was in a car accident a couple years ago and can't hold my shoulders up very long. I end up with just a pony tail and it has really taken a toll on how it looks. My hair is very fine and thin and the stresses have caused me to not have that much fullness anymore. I would so appreciate your ideas and help. I love your videos. You and your sister are so cute. It's wonderful to see you seem so cheerful and genuinely happy again. 💜

Pineapple Person true. Mine heats a little on the outside but not a lot. Didn’t think about that. I’m too broke to buy a new one haha.
Honestly if you get the chance you should try it sometime with a newer (though mine is also a few years old but also designed to do curls). For my heavy hair, that's the only way to have curls/waves stay!
Thuy Pham true I just have a cheap curling iron and straightener. My hair is thin and doesn’t hold curls very well anyway so the curling iron makes waves lol
Maybe try to loosen up your hold on the hair strands, I discovered that I was clamping my flat iron too tight and that way it wasn't letting any curl form, it was just heating up my hair

Love the short hair tips! I recently went from mid-back length to collar bone length hair and I’m still struggling to find out what styles work best for me.
Also, I was totally inspired by your eye look and tried that out for the first time. I don’t usually go for warm, coppery colors, but I really like it!
I learned so much from this video! I would love a version for different ways to use a curling iron- or even just a blow dryer (e.g. techniques to blow dry your hair pretty sleek and straight vs. a big barreled blowout without using secondary heat tools)
Soooo wanna cut my hair right now! Still afraid to say goodbye to my long hair - it's been good to me! Still would love to see a "How to style long hair in the winter" video to combat against the rats nest that forms at the nape of your neck from wearing coats and scarves.
Kylan Higgs right? Kayley is a part of my inspiration for getting my hair cut soon! Not as short as hers, but I’m chopping it from waist to probably between collarbone and armpit, which is huge for me! I think it’ll scratch the haircut itch and shake things up, but I’ll still be able to do most hairstyles.
My little tip for the "rat nest" at the nape of the neck is to do a small braid there😊 I do it always when I have curls. I flip my head upside down, take a section of hair from the nape of my neck, braid it all the way down and secure it with a small elastic. It also brings a little, cute, almost hidden braid to my hairstyle😄
@@bibliophilecb You could donate your hair for charity! Please do, your hair can make sick people/children feel a lot better! If you're going to cut your hair it is waist to you anyways, but it could become a wig for someone who lost their hair because of illness. And this (real hair) is something you can't replace it with money
Maura I’d love to donate it but unfortunately most of my hair has been treated with henna and several inches of the inches aka pretty much all of what I’m cutting off has been dyed with box dye. Donations are typically only accepted of virgin aka not dyed hair since it gets processed and dyed to make the wigs.
Try to do neat, sleek styles instead of pancaked, messy buns. Try some Victorian hair styles if you like volume though

Rae White u should use heat spray or heat protector whenever you use heat products or whenever you can. so it hair doesnt fry after years of using heat often. Have a nice day. 😁

I have a love/hate relationship with my hair. It’s waist length and beautiful with a natural wave as it’s naturally curly and the weight is weighing the curls down. I’ve never been a girly girl so didn’t learn to do makeup, hair, nails, etc. My hair is also super thick. So imagine not knowing what you’re doing and either wanting to straighten your hair or do beach wave type style with super thick, frizzy, and very long hair. I wouldn’t dare go near my hair with a round brush, the hottest settings on a hair dryer takes over an hour to dry my hair and anything less is a joke. It’s the same thing with hair straighteners, curling irons, and wands. Not to mention I just cannot get the hang of being able to curl both sides away from my face. My left side comes out perfect and then when it comes to switching hands, my right side comes out horrible because all the curls are flowing the opposite direction. I guess it takes practice but I’m 35yo and a full time stay at home mom to two special needs kids so I only have the time they’re in school to get everything done and on a good day I’m lucky to have 30 minutes to do absolutely nothing but fool around and I try to use that time to work out. lol
