SGC Reveal! Got a Bad Grade 😳

- This is a SGC reveal video! I sent in five cards for grading and I share the results. Unfortunately, I received a very low grade on my 1964 Topps Frank Robinson…yikes! However, I did well on my 1972 Topps Carlton Fisk rookie and 1971 Topps Don Gullett rookie. Steve @vintageonvintage817 would be proud of the grade on the Gullett! And finally, I got expected grades on my 1948 Swell Sport Thrills Bob Feller and 1957 Topps Frank Robinson rookie. Let me know what you think!

All those cards were beautiful! You have a good eye for centering!
Thanks so much Dan! I tend to look for colorful and well-centered cards depending on what it is. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment!
Great video and super cards Rob. The 64 Frank Robinson looks great. The Carlton Fisk RC was my favorite. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks my friend! I bought that Fisk when I was a kid. Super excited to get a 6 grade. I appreciate you watching and commenting!
Both of those frank robinsons are beauties! Love that Feller too. Take care 👊🏻⚾️
Thank you David! I believe those cards have great eye appeal despite the grades. I appreciate you watching!
Beautiful cards Rob! Bummer about the 64 Robinson, unless that’s a pinhole right through it still shouldn’t be a 2.5.
Love the Fisk rookie!
Nice 7.5 on the 71 Gullett!
Sweet Rpbinson RC! Tough to find that one with decent centering!
Hey Jim! The hole doesn’t go through. I’ve been looking at this card for 5 years now and never noticed the hole. And I inspected it before shipping it out. Thanks for watching!
Fantastic cards, great return! Thanks for sharing and have a great day!
@@TCBsprtscards Thank you! I appreciate you taking the time to support my channel! Enjoy your weekend!!!
Both of those Robinsons look fantastic in their tuxes. And congrats on the 7.5 for the Gullett. Thanks for sharing!
@@jpcards Thanks John! Frank is a player I plan on getting more of soon. I’m happy with both of these. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Sweet cards, Rob. They look good in the tux! Thx for sharing.
@@Vintage_Dave_T Thanks, Dave! You gotta love the tuxedos! I appreciate you taking the time to watch!
Gave a video like. Awesome cards, Rob! The Frank Robinson RC is such a great card. Nice Feller! Love the '71 Topps set. Dang, that is a wonderful Fisk RC! They all look sweet in those tuxes! Thanks for sharing
@@Hodges1455 Hey Brian! I appreciate your support! Vintage cards and SGC slabs are a match made in heaven! Take care!
All beautiful cards!
@@CleanCheapShots Thank you, Drew!
Great cards Rob! It’s only a number, the cards still look amazing!
@@EverydayCardCollector-Jason Thank you, buddy! I was more disappointed with myself for not seeing the imperfection. I appreciate you!
Really awesome returns, the Frank Robinson rookie displays nicely
@@CollectingMaddux1987 Thanks! I agree about the Frank rookie. I looked at a number of 3 and 4 grades and prefer the one I got. I appreciate you watching!
Hey Rob, congrats on crushing that 71 Gullett, awesome my friend! All of those cards look fantastic in their slabs and have amazing eye appeal! Congrats!
@@vintageonvintage817 Thanks, Steve! I thought about you as soon as I saw the grade on the Gullett. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and respond. Have a great weekend!
Great returns from SGC! Congrats on the Gullet. I wouldn’t worry about 64 Topps Frank. It still looks really good.
@@Dcollection Thanks! You’re right about the Frank. It still looks good to me. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment!
Awesome cards Rob, well done! Didn't you do a preview video on these or show off the 1964 Frank at one point? If so, check the tape and be sure. I have been looking at some Gullett's the last couple weeks to grade and sell, huge score on that one! I may have a nicer Frank RC within a couple months if I pick up a copy I have an eye on. I have a PSA 7 already but am trying to think of cards to find and grade to sell while I recover. With COMC I can do it all without leaving the site. Might want to check out the raw copies there. God Bless!
@@blixcards Thanks, buddy! I thought I showed the 64 Robinson on my channel before but couldn’t find the video…oh well. Eventually, I want to find a Frank rookie in a 4 grade. Thanks for the advice. Get well soon!
@@RobCashCards Thanks Rob! I swear you showed it in a preview so figure I would bring it up at least. @Sammythunder is running a great livestream right now...
Sorry about the ‘64 but that Robinson rookie looks awesome. 🎉
Thanks for watching, Mark! At least one of my Robinson’s graded the way I thought it would lol. Take care!
Awesome cards my friend. I wouldn’t worry about the grades
@@godisgreat8462 I appreciate your encouragement, my friend! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!
Definitely a good choice not going to PSA when you just want a grade and in a slab. Nice cards!
@@FFMCardsandMore I agree! PSA takes way too long to grade vintage. Plus, I like SGC’s slabs better. Take care!
@@RobCashCards I just saw a new company on a video called C3 Grading. Have you heard of them?
Awesome to see a great grade on a 1971
@@stuke1976 Thanks! I was really excited to get a high grade on the Gullett. Thanks for watching and commenting!
That first one is still a nice card. 👌
@@JoelSpike Thank you! I still like it 😁. I appreciate you watching!
