Mrs Davis Crafts thank you for all you have done! Thought about sharing it on the Facebook page to show people how their lovely hearts have been used but didn’t want people to think this video is about me promoting my silly wee channel. I just wanted to ensure the story and the amazing kindness of people is recorded so that we can look back on it and say ‘wow!!!’ Took a lot to get me in front of the camera btw 😂😂😂😂

Oh Lisa, thank you SO much for sharing this video🌷🌷🌷 It brought me to tears just thinking about the people who are all by themselves in hospitals and nursing homes with no hope of visitors for now😢😢😢 I did join a small group of ladies who wrote cards of encouragement for the precious elderly folk who are in nursing homes to let them know they are not forgotten and that they are being prayed for🌸📨🌸 I love this wonderful idea of the hearts💝💝💝 I must share this with my sewing ministry group that I’m in🤗 We make coverlets and lap quilts for those in hospice, as well as small figit lap quilts for those in nursing homes....figits are various things we attach to the lap quilts to help keep their hands and minds busy🌺 (BTW...I am from the US😊....I’ve ALWAYS wanted to visit your lovely country...part of my ancestry is from Ireland...one day, hopefully, I can🍀🤗💖) Stay safe and well🌷🌸🌷 Smiles, Deborah 🌝🎶💐

Deborah Berry you are doing amazing things to help people. So caring and compassionate and I’m sure it brings joy to the recipients of your lovely cards and textiles. Well done to you and the ladies in your sewing group. I live on the West Coast of Scotland. My great grandparents travelled over from Ireland to settle in Scotland in the late 1800s. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 I love your messages by the way. So cheerful and colourful with your lovely emojis

You had me roaring and greeting there! What a lovely thing to be involved with. Well done you and all involved. You're looking great and you hair is fine. Great to see you, wish we were sitting in that Chinese restaurant in Killie, with you saying, and can we get a plate of chips with that?🤣🤣🤣🤣 Missing you xxxx

Hi Lisa I know this was a year ago but I went through a bad time last year and the year before . My son who is 40 and autistic had a breakdown I was with my other family but it was hard he is ok now but he was bad . I lost a nephew last year and we couldn't go to his funeral . My niece lost her little baby with Sids and couldn't go to help her . My other niece got married she cried because she had postponed it twice I just told her to just get married and it doesn't matter if I wasn't with her . I raised them when my sister Catherine suddenly passed away 19 yrs ago so they're like my children. I have three children two sons and a daughter who is my life line. But I feel so much for the people you help . In Australia the lockdown went for a year and a half it was hard . My daughter and I rescue animals mainly kittens and older cats ,6 this week. I have 18 rescue babies all ages some with special needs but my whole family help out . My hubby and my daughters friend are the drivers and the vets are friends . I wish I could help out . I make things for stalls to earn money for animal rescue . Lisa you are a darling as well as a great crafter . As I said this is coming 12 months to late but thankyou sweetheart for your video it helps even now me in NSW Australia . God bless Karen and family.💖💐🌄🥰🐨🇭🇲

Warm wishes from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Karen. I am so sorry to hear of all the terrible things that have been happening to your family. So many people have experienced so much tragedy over the past 2yrs.
I’m sorry to hear about your son. My eldest son is Autistic (he’s in his 30s now) & he experienced something similar in his teenage yrs which seriously impacted on his mental health. It’s a daily struggle for anyone who is on the spectrum and/or has mental health issues. Very sad to hear about the loss of your niece’s baby. I can’t imagine the heartache you’re all going through.
Like many others, I wanted to do something to help during lockdown. Getting involved with Hearts for Crosshouse was a wonderful thing & I’m in awe of all the wonderful volunteers who got involved. We distributed thousands and thousands of hearts, masks extenders and latterly Twiddle sleeves for dementia patients.
I can see that you are a kind person with a good heart who also wants to help others. My goodness if you were here my youngest would be all over those kittens! He is animal crazy! It’s lovely that you make handcrafted items to raise money for animal charities. In my job I work with many volunteers & I gift most of the items I make to them if they are unwell or need a pick me up. Are you on TikTok? I post lots of videos there of my projects. Don’t get as much time these days to upload videos to my You Tube channel. Take care Karen & don’t forget to be kind to yourself too! Stay safe ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🌻
