I have been buying the Janome machines since 1995, first (computer, embroidery machine) now I own three plus a long arm pro stitcher quilting machine. All of my machines are still going strong with yearly maintenance and only one repair in all these years. These machine are just wonderful. Thanks for your demo, love your channel.

Very informative video, thanks for showing the screen and explaining the features there, as well as how the stitch works. So many features on the Janome machines that need to be learned, I love that they (Janome) have the "makers" to show them to us.

This was soooo helpful...thank you! I have a 6500, so don't have a cornering key, but I do have the stop key, which will help quite a bit. The simple idea of going slow and counting the stitches is brilliant....1 2 3 in....1 2 3 in... Ready to do some slapplique later today!

Checking out TH-cam for some courage before starting a Lori Holt applique quilt. TH-cam suggested this video and I’m thrilled!! Checked my Janome M7 and yep! I have a corner button!! Thank you for this video. It’s going to make doing a heavily appliquéd quilt a lot of fun!

Thank you so much for teaching us about the M8. I recently purchased one and I'm just learning about the features and how it works. Hope you'll have more tutorials about the M8! You're a great teacher. Thanks again!

Thank you. Thank you . I bought an M7 in July - it’s hard to learn it all . I just started doing appliqué!

I really appreciate this lesson, let me tell you. You do very neat applique! I just learned something new, just when you think you know your machine. I like this corner feature button.

I appreciate the video, but it would be helpful to see what restart button you are referring to. Are you talking about the start button? Do you press the corner button each side, or just at the beginning? I’m confused.

I thought we were going to have a dance, 1, 2, 3 in 1, 2, 3 in …. Seriously though, thank you, I have had my machine for years and never used that function. I will now 😮

Thanks for this, it was interesting to watch. I have a MC8200QCPSE, so I won’t be able to use this feature. Is there any way I can get the same accuracy using just the foot or the needle plate markings? I also love doing appliqué this way, it’s so much more durable, and like you, not into doing it by hand, especially when you have a perfectly good machine 😊 I use something called Heat’n’Bond. It works much the same way. Thanks again.
