That wire stand was for the hats.
So jealous! I would have needed a U-Haul truck. So many you passed up, I was yelling, “tag that Julie”. Especially that Hoosier cabinet. Absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing. Wishing I lived closer.
Gosh, you passed up Paddington and the Hoosier cabinets!
the red metal thing in china cabinet was a cigarette roller
I've never seen a cradle like that. What a treasure! I was hoping you got the buttocks basket that had the gourds in. They're valuable.
Loved the herb pillows!
Oh, Julie, what memories this brought back. The piece marked ‘Brown and Williamson’ was an old cigarette roller. You put your little piece of cigarette tissue in and added your shredded tobacco and pushed that lever and it rolled a perfect cigarette. I have seen my daddy make many of those using his own home grown tobacco. In the master, the metal piece is a hat stand. Wouldn’t that have been impressive with all those red hats on it? Lol. You did so well, Julie. It would have taken a truck to haul what I would have wanted from there, but, alas I have no place to put it! Thanks for sharing this with us. It was fun to step back into my childhood for a little while l
I wish we had the kind of estate sales you find! I'd certainly have a "field day." I'm 72 years old and have a rocking chair from when I was about 3...it still plays Mary had a little lamb.
Hi Kathryn...I'm 68 and I also still have the wooden rocking chair that my parents gave me when I was little. I think I was 3 or 4 when they gave it for Christmas. It had a music box, sadly gone long ago, that played Mary Had a Little Lamb. It has lamb and flower decals on the back. My girls rocked on it too. I would have come home with my van full from that sale!
I still have my rocking chair as well. It’s been recovered several times. I’m 73, my grandkids are using it now.
@@lorettatremmel6376 My father gave it to my aunt for her 2 girls in 1962 when we moved to CA. When we had our daughter in 1980, my uncle took it apart and put it in his suitcase (they were visiting from CT) and brought it to me where he put it back together. Our girl is soon to be 44. It's so nice to have something from my childhood!
I loved the slated headboard, the cradle, the basket is a one of a kind. I have a small kitchen but love a good Hoosier cabinet
That thing in the cabinet is a cigarette roller from the 1950"s. Used to watch a next door neighbor roll his own. That hosser cabinet is a great price and the find of the century.
Omgosh soooo many smalls you passed up on that are worth $$.... I wished I lived closer to you because where I live we don't have many estate sales but dang yall have some great one's.
I have a Hoosier Cabinet in green and yellow, not my favorite colors, but it belonged to my momma.
That basket was a great find. I believe it’s Choctaw.
The orange, partly metal item you picked up out of the display cabinet was an old cigarette roller.
That wicker cradle is so sweet!
Love the old bear 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
My mom has made a new friend and they have been hitting up estate sales in our town like crazy recently. She has brought home so many treasures! ❤
What a steal of a haul for $50!!!!
That wire stand is a hat stand.
Great haul! I can't believe you got all that stuff for $50. That's was a deal of a lifetime. The Hoosier cabinet was a great price. I love those and always wanted one. My hubby built me a replica out of solid wood years ago and I love it of course. He found the patterns and instructions in an old woodworker magazine. I saw a lot of things I thought for sure you would have bought. I love that glass wheelbarrow. I have never seen a little cradle that plays music before that is pretty darn cool. Great Estate sale.
My favorite piece was the doll bed that played music. Thank you Julie, you always have interesting things to show. Enjoy your channel.
That stand in the master bedroom was a hat stand
Love the pillows! I was just about to ask if you bought the pillows! You had them on the grass!LOL
I love the little bassinet. So sweet. The pillow and bear would look good in it.
Hard to pick a favorite. The bear, the basket, and the rolling pins. And that cool bowl. What fun
I bailed on going to a sale, why? Four lette r word, SNOW!!!!!!! It is spring and we woke up to a winter wonderland!!
Man I wish we had estates , I’m itching to go to one 😊
That place had so many bears, books, my kinds of place. Great trip❤❤
OMG that tall 2 handle dark blue vase.....made my heart stop! soooooo pretty. What a great sale. The little lamb is a chocolate mold or a cake pan.....Williams Sanoma I think.
Julie, love you girl, but.....have you ever thought about wearing a Bluetooth microphone.
That metal tall thing in the bedroom was a hat stand. Looks like for several hats.
I would have needed a truck to haul everything I wanted! What a nice find❤️
I loved the little cradle and can't believe the music worked! SO many treasures to see. Loved the pillows you got and the bear!!❤
Hi Julie, such a great video! Loved the embroidered pillows and bear. My mom used to have a hoosier cabinet in our kitchen! Brought back memories!
Pillows and the Hoosier cabinet

What a fun sale! Love the cement bowl!
ty for the great journey. I want and love the big old cabinet with the flour sifter. oh my....I would be dragging that one out for sure.
Red metal thing at the beginning was used to roll cigarettes.
Ohhh! A preview! I'm hitting this one on my way home from work tomorrow morning! You got such good stuff, but looks like the house is packed!
I love the vintage baby crib, bowl, and teddy bear. There was a lot I would have loved to get.
Wow! I loved all the old furniture! Amazing!
I look at these estate sales and wonder how they possibly get everything sold. It seems like a daunting task to clean it all out.
I'm so glad you got that baby bassinet!
You found some really nice pieces. Fun shopping trip!
Beautiful Hoosier cabinet
I loved all the items you purchased 😊😊
Oh I wish I was there 🤣🤣👍🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻♥️♥️♥️I have a Hoosier cabinet, but I want another 🤣❤️❤️❤️

Oh wait, I’ll take all the lamps, all the frames, and that, and that, and that too! I will be back with a U-Hall. 😂😂😂
I love that Hoosier cabinet
Love that sweet little cradle.
My FAVORITE piece was the LARGE BOWL!!!
I wouldn’t plant 🪴 anything in it, I would display as is, to enjoy.
That’s my opinion though.
Thank you for sharing!!🤍🤍🤍
I love that basket
I need the mannequin that was in the corner. 🤗
The green cabinet you passed up…I would have snagged that in a heartbeat. The two Hoosier cabinets were amazing. Love all the stuff you did end up with though. Great haul.
Wow! Your final selections were "perfection"! Loved the musical surprise as well!!
My kind of sale! Love the kitchen stuff you got!

Awesome find ❤
Hey Julie you can put that Hoosier cabinet in my kitchen!😬😬😬
Ooooooo some books shouldn't be defiled (painted or stamped or glued with anything. I would love to have those gold books to read and display in my bookcases. They would go with my NOLA sitting room. Oh, I'm wanting them SO bad! Have y'all ever seen them before? I haven't!
Love the doll cradle!
Brown & Williamson was a Tobacco Company and it was used to roll your own cigarettes.
I keep tilting my phone, trying to see more of each room... 😂
Omg 😂I do the same thing 😭
The basket you found at 6:06 is a match to one I have that is smaller. I am interested in purchasing if you are going to sell.
I like the hand basket and the bear. Will they be available on your site?
You know the saying if you don't ask you will never know.. make a offer on the things that you like
I would have had NO problem buying and wearing that mink coat.
I wonder if you bought a quantity of books would they give a better price? Might be worth asking. In my area a lot of times you can get a price break when you buy more even varied items.
Hat stand in bedroom!
I’m not sure but that lil red thing you weren’t sure of, it could have been a cigarette maker.
I wonder how they got the motorized wheelchair up the stairs 🤔
Do you ever feel uncomfortable going through dead people things
And how do they come up with the prices?
What happens if it all doesn’t sell
The first estate sale I went to long ago gave me the creeps as the owner had died which is normally the case. I got over it soon after more sales-- it was as if whatever the former person or persons owned needed a new home. And those things could be well cared for.
It’s like when you go to the goodwill & see collections of things. You know the person must have died, bc younger people don’t like the things we collect. My kids don’t want any of my stuff. It will probably end up at the goodwill. 😢
I had the same feeling when I first started going to estate sales. Kind of like I was trespassing but quickly got over it and have no problem opening drawers and cabinets. As long as they aren't taped shut. Sometimes estate sale liquidators don't have the time to empty cupboards and drawers so you never know what goodies you can find. The bowl is beautiful. I'm pretty sure it was hand made with hypertufa. They make awesome planters. Succulents would be really pretty. Since it doesn't have drainage holes, might want to use a cactus planting soil.
Hamper
That red thing is a cigarette roller
The small rusted red thing is to make cigarettes
I saw that you had a sale was trying to see and was blocked saying it is private
So as for many years in the art world I took part ,,,
I feel very uncomfortable
Saying goodbye
That orange object in the cabinet may be a cigarette roller.
The red thingy you picked up and didn’t know what it’s was… a cigarette maker.
3 bucks a piece for books!! They dont want to sell very bad! Ridiculous
My area they would upwards of $10.
How are you able to film with only you in a room at estate sales? It’s always so quiet. Lol
