Hello! I want to buy Nakuru Safari. But the pictures of the floor and the sample are different. Do you have pictures of this floor installed somewhere already?
They alway show straight easy to lay rooms with herringbone. I have 3 rooms connected to each other while one room is in L shape. I guess it will be very difficult to lay the herringbone pattern there.
Hi, what do you exactly mean? I don't understand your question. About transition strips, you can install without transition strips up to 400m² (20x20m)
I mean they are assembling it the same way. Could they work it the exact opposite way or do the pieces require it to be installed in one direction? Could you work it backwards. I have to “backup” into a room so to speak
Hi! Our ParquetVinyl floors are actually perfect to fit on another floor. If you send an email to hanne@lamett.eu, I can send you the techinical file with all the conditions the floor must meet.
Parquetvinyl requires a floating installation and needs to be able to keep moving in the room. Of course, this is barely noticeable. Always leave a space of 8 mm all around the room. The skirting boards will cover this space. In some places, such as around a toilet, it is not possible to install skirting boards. It those cases, apply a line of elastic silicone.
Hi Urban Golfer! When you install our product Parquetvinyl, you don't need a transition profile. you can lay up to 400 m2 without using one. kind regards
ParquetVinyl I contacted the email on your website for USA, but the email bounce back saying the email address is not active (northamerica@lamett.com) If you can please forward me their info so I can get a sample and check it out! Jbirdthe3rd@hotmail.com
If the packages are exposed to extreme temperatures for over 2 hours (below 10°C or above 40°C) in the 12 hours prior to installation, these packages will need to acclimatise. You don't need to acclimatise the packages in normal temperatures.
Why do people put fake wood planks over existing real oak floors? Hardwood floors are real wood that can be sanded and vanished to look beautiful and last over 100 years.
It's a completely other type of floor. No more worries about cleaning and stains. Also, some walls in this room were taken away and there was no wood floor underneath, so they had to put a new floor on it :)

That looks amazing! So much nicer than straight planks!
For the herringbone pattern, do you need a special floor like left and right? Or you can do it with the regular floor?
Hi I have just recently bought your vi flooring. Could you tell me the list of tools that will I need to carry out the job?
Why anyone would want to cover that gorgeous hardwood, I’ll never know.
Agree! They should have called me for a free estimate for refinishing and make that old wood floors look like new...
15€/m2 and covered hardwood floor will look like new.

I’ve laid the same floor. Some planks have a very small chip in them. Is there a filler I can use or do I have to change the plank
Hi, what do you mean with a small chip? Is it possible to send some photos to marketing@lamett.eu? Thank you
Thank you for educating me. Great videos, clear and concise.
Lovely to hear that!
Can you run this backwards? As if you were doing the entire house and didn’t want transition strips? If so how?

Good job 👍
Would there be any expansion as it is not wood but plastic
Yes indeed, leave an expansion gap of 8 mm. We talk about this from 7:40. Good luck!
nice boots bro!
How do you start when the wall you want to put your triangles against is out of angle?
Isn't it possible to start from another wall that is straight? Otherwise you will have to correct the starting triangels to fit against the wall.
Is that not bad practice fitting on top on another floor?

No its lazy and unprofessional. Ask any installer worth his salt.
What is function of expansion joint

I'm afraid we don't ship to the USA. We do have a partner there. If you give me your email, I can send you the details. Kind regards,

Someone needs to explain the English obsession with herringbone flooring.
Cuanto cobran por sqft
😍not vinyl one piece?
just use Sketchup to plan it. simple. Also why would you start against the wall, when the room is probably not even straight.
I was wondering the same thing.
12 hrs isn’t enough! 48-72 is proper.
Acclimatize a floor that's practically plastic !? Hummm
If the packages are exposed to extreme temperatures for over 2 hours (below 10°C or above 40°C) in the 12 hours prior to installation, these packages will need to acclimatise. You don't need to acclimatise the packages in normal temperatures.
yikes, plastic floors
Beautiful oak floor covered with plastic. Oh no, oh no, oh no no no no no…
Hi KonTo, the floor was too damaged to keep. That's why we renovated it with Parquetvinyl
Putting a plastic fake wood on perfectly good actual hardwood, good move.
