Maybe ,he put a half round molding attach to the skirting and floor ..that my guest
What is the model name of the laminate?
I'm living in my car I don't know why I'm watching this. But great video man. Definitely feel like I can do this now.
I have just finished laying a herringbone Laminate floor, this video probably saved me half a day of planning and headscratching as it showed each step of the process and how the floor parts come together. Thank you Nick for such an informative video.
Each step of the process, huh. He doesn’t tell you much at all the steps or considerations before even laying it out.
If you take the extra mile to do herringbone instead of normal I would have removed the baseboards first and replaced after floor is laid so the extra trimlines would not have been necessary which i think are "ugly". You go deluxe or you don't. Easy talk by me cos I still have do my own floor. lol
This is so beautiful! I absolutely loved the perfection you displayed in laying this floor!
You make it look easy That floor is now a work of art Great work 👏 👍
Thank you so much for posting this! I have been trying to find a contractor who can do this so I am sending this video to a few to see if they are willing to learn. Also very enjoyable to watch - good choice of music.
Awesome job, I may consider a room like that if I could find a square enough room with a straight wall in my place!
WOW - your good! The floor looks just beautiful. 3/13/23 Sarasota, Fla. watching
Fantastic video. As much as I love the look I dont think I've got the skills to do this myself. Regular laminate it is!
This looks awesome. I’ve been installing laminate for years and never had the opportunity to ever do a herringbone pattern. Very nice!
Your lucky I've done it a handful of times and it's never straight forward. Much prefer Install solid wood herringbone
My first time doing it today with glue down. I had to see how to get started lol.
Don't bother mate. I did one earlier this year in a smallish box room/office and it was a total ball ache. It takes twice as long to lay than normal laminate because there's a lot more measuring and cutting to do, plus you get a lot more wastage.
Thanks a lot for your help
I started doing this type of flooring but did not know how to start.
Luckily I saw this video and got the nail of it
Thanks 🙏
You are very professional, to compliment you on these videos just before you are number 1
Looks amazing. Great job!
Hi great job I've been using it to do this for the first time laying a floor like this and it was really helpful. Thanks 👍👍

Great video. Loved the relaxing music as well. We are getting our floors done soon in this pattern. I hope they do as great a job as you did.
Thank you Saleem 👍🏻
I’ve been watching multiple videos on how to do this, and your technique is easily the most GENIUS way I’ve seen it done!! Saved! Thanks for sharing!!!
Is it necessary to glue in those last few triangle pieces, and why?
@@jessicahall8884I’m sure you’ve had your question answered one way or another, with it being over a year. But with most types of herringbone lvt if you don’t fit the last cuts as you go, and fit all the full planks first, there ends up being both a male and female end on either side of the board, only an expansion gap worth of room to work with and a board you can’t lift to click in once it’s all tied together when you’ve laid most the floor. I made this mistake earlier 😆 very good video of installation tho
Hi Nick
Thanks for sharing. Great job 👏🏻
SO satisfying, id love to do this in my future home
Great video! Thanks for sharing! Will be attempting this at the weekend!
You did a great job.looks so complicated at the start
Awesome job Nick. I had install the same floor in our living room and kitchen. 55m2 and it cost me a week😰, but nice to do it
a week? i must reconsider if i want a floor like this....
Beautiful reminds me of parquet floors you usually see in houses from the 1930’s.
And all that under 17:00 minutes!! Dude, you're hired for life :)
The beginning display patience & creativity’ wonder how strong this material is’ Vids like this it all make sense as you keeping doing puzzle by puzzle
I tried fitting some today, man it blew my mind.
Thankyou we will be purchasing laminate flooring very soon from your store.
Great job Nick! Can you show how to do cutting on rounded corners? Connections to other rooms?
Beautiful - - - - what a work of art - - - well done !
Great job lad, very informative.
Thank you man, great video! Helped me a lot.
Mate you are a god. Thank you for making this. I'm gonna do it in my house. Exactly like you did it. Thanks for the training vid!

Oh, to have a square room. I am a English handyman living and working in France. Trust me, no walls are square here. Makes for an interesting job though. Great video.
Spot on!!! Laying this in a old house were the corners are not perfectly 90 degrees is a whole different experience. Besides that if your really unlucky (like me) and it your really close to a perfect fit but not there. You end up with a lot of waste.
Beautiful clean work very professional thanks for the learning experience. You made a cheap floor look expensive
;-)
Why do you assume it was cheap ??
@@cisk0skid , it means the material is junk and so it looks good
@@cisk0skid why do you assume its not
Muito bom trabalho artesanal, os cantos das paredes estão a noventa graus e o piso é plano, facilitando um pouco o trabalho.
Haven't got to do one of these myself but i really wanna give it a shot tho, your work looks fucking stellar tho, very nice tidy work area too, love to see it lmao
Well we'll we'll, Iv learnt wonting there 👍👍👍👍
I really enjoyed your video 😲 Real professional🙂
Grande Nick!
Extraordinario, genial. Mil gracias.

とても美しい仕上がりですね!

Absolutely amazing. I will have to take a nap and watch this again. Did you have a lot of left over scrap flooring pieces?
C’est super!!!
This man is good
De lo mejorcito que he visto, impresionante
Bravo beau travail je connaissais pas !
Thanks for sharing
clever staff especially the start bravissimo !
That was professional, smart and organized work 👍🏾👍🏾 Deserve a BIG LIKE
Thank you 👍🏻🙂
Unfortunately, laying the floor to the existing skirting boards is not professional.Sorry, but professionalism is taking the skirting boards off and putting them back on after the floor is laid.
Beautiful Job...
Nice work. 👍
헤링본 시공 멋져요...
Excellent video
Отличная робота коллега.
Если коллега значит тоже мастер,после укладки таким способом появился бугор метр от стены,в одном только месте,примерно 60×60,Спасибо
Great job
He made it look so easy
Nice job brother 👍👍👍👍
Thanks bro 👍🏻
Excelente trabajo 👍
superbe vidéo et bon boulot a vous
Great detailed video.
I am presently having LVT floating click system flooring laid this week. Like previous flooring ie engineered wood click system I have always removed skirting. kick boards prior to the floors being fitted. So, in this video has silicon been used between the finished floor and the skirting boards?
Awesome work! Is this flooring available in the USA? I'd love it for my home and business!!
Just checked out your video super impressed. How would you start an uneven room? It’s completely not square in order to get the herringbone look. Thanks.
I wish we could install those easy to lay laminates. We always have to do the kind you must hit together.
Hi Nick,
Great video!
Could you share the link for materials please?
Thanks 👍
un bellissimo lavoro
Muito profissional. Parabéns!!!
Good job 👍
WOW - your good!
Great 👍👍👍 Job
Beautiful ❤️
excellent
Wow amazing👍👍👍👍
Hi Nick great job on the floor! I was just scrolling through the comments to see what saw blade you use to cut the floor. All the blades I use go blunt and struggle? Thanks mate!
God Bless your hands .
Good job. In the video, what the cutting blade you used?
Hi this looks great, I’m watching in hopes to educate myself before attempting to fit this style flooring throughout the whole of the ground floor in my new house we are due to move into next week. I don’t suppose you know the shade and where you bought this from do you? I can’t commit to a shade but love this one 🤦🏼♀️ And any chance your available Saturday 17th feb to come for it for me please? 😅
Complimenti ottimo lavoro
Nice one
Sei forte!
wonderful
Good work...its easy because it vinyl flooring....much harder and longer if it was engineered wood or solid which you might have to glue together
Impressive
Super !!!
Master 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🔥🔥
Hola felicidades
In 50 years of flooring, wood, laminate, LVT, the amount of herringbone I`ve done up until 5 years ago I could probably count on both my hands. 5 years on I must have done around 50-60. Just shows how much en vogue it is at the moment. As above, if its a drop-lock system it's a lot easier, trouble ensues when both length & width have to be angled in at the same time. Can be a nightmare!

Great video, are you able to show how you would install this type of flooring if you had a wall which wasnt 90 degrees or crooked please?
the best
Hello I have just watched your video which was very good, we are a distributor of that particular product but we have had problems with crisping, this I believe is when you walk on the floor and it sounds like you are walking on a packet of crisps, the manufacturer advises no more than 3mm underlay and to glue all the short ends, have you ever had any problems regarding this? Regards Denny
Herringbone floor looks really nice. Im just wondering if you are left with a lot of waste flooring after you fill in your cuts on the sides of the room.
