That was beautiful, unexpectedly beautiful! I adore these types of fics! Dark but in a melancholic way, that leads to feelings of appreciation for what you have. The pacing was my favorite part, so much attention to detail in the description of the settings made the ending all the more impactful! Huge kudos to Zaponator for the wonderful fic and Scribbler and voice actors for the immersive reading!
I don't think i've been this choked up since i listened to "Forever Young". Always something about an immortal being lamenting their long, yet lonely life that hits a cord with me. Another reminder that as grand as immortality and eternal youth may seem, there will be many memories and loved ones gained and lost through time.
When Twilight said that she couldn't remember her first friends that broke me. I don't cry or tear up with fics often, but this was one of those occasions I did.
Now that's a bitter-sweet ending. Twilight, having spent eons in sad hope, got to experience the joys she'd long forgotten and pass into the void, remembering only the good times and those closest to her. Although, the fact Twilight mentioned Cadance but NOT Flurryheart... means Flurry died long before either she or Cadance. I'm guessing that might be why Cadance never returned before she too passed on, she was looking for Flurryheart's grave to give her daughter one final goodbye before the end, only to wind up joining her in the great beyond to await Twilight’s arrival before being able to join Twilight again in the living world

Stuff from the fandom has made me cry before, heck, it's even pulled me from depressive spells a time or two by helping me have a good cry, but for some reason this fic hit me different, the first time any work of fiction has made me openly sob, bravo to both the VAs and the writer wore creating this masterpiece. Also, side note, this came out in 2017, so kinda cool that they predicted future twilight, even if it was tad obvious of a conclusion to reach.
It's very rare for me to cry from tragedy fics, probably because if they're too depressing i kind of tune them out lol. But this was perfect. A perfect balance of tragedy but also a bit of hope. So uh i'm ugly crying now thanks a lot :P
Beautiful story. Though I'm saddened by two things the nature of this future AU suggests. That Ponies do not accomplish spaceflight and their descendants colonize the universe. That Alicorns are truly immortal.
I wasn't expecting an Audio. I definitely love the pictures, the still illustrations to go with it the audio storytelling but can't do that all the time that's for sure.
Still not done with the story, but I find this interesting. I was watching on my phone, switched to laptop to finish it, and the thumbnail looks completely different color wise between the two devices. I wonder if I should calibrate it.

Trixie and Starlight's chemistry is so hilarious and lovable. Twilight finding the picture under the tile made me flat out cry and Twilight is so lucky to have Starlight as a pupil.
