I have two young men. One light skin and one is dark skin. So there's a Boris kodjo and Morris Chestnut lookalike. Every minute of the day I'm worried. The youngest is in college in Georgia and the Older son works. Imagine every time they leave the house, I hold my breath until the door opens and I called out to confirm they made it back home SAFELY. Lord help us. 🙏🏽🙏🏽

I'm glad that Ahmad mother is not being manipulated into forgiving those killers!!! They stalked and gunned down that young man for no reason!! Ahmad Aubrey was young man minding his business jogging not bothering and he was confronted by some racist guys and shot/killed for no reason

I recalled my uncle, down syndrome, and disability to comprehend, he went outside the home, went for a walk, lost his way to way back home.
For hours NO one could find him,
My sister circled back to rockaway boulevard in queens, 11436 zip code
Upon my sister spotted him, she say she saw cops light from two cops car, so driving by to see, she saw a cop roughing up my disabled uncle, black disabled down syndrome man, whom one can tell that he is and was lacking capacity to understand anyone.
The cops, Caucasian, all four was, even had him in handcuffs and on the ground in the streets, beat & assaulted him
Witnesses testified that my uncle was just sitting on side walk crying and talking to self, but not answering to anyone, looking scared
Nothing became of the cops abuse and ways, maybe to this day they're probably still on the job or retired with full pension and unblemished records, but their souls belongs to God, judgment and vengeance is mine say the LORD
When I was informed, I became scared and panicking about his safety and anything would happened to my uncle

My heart goes out too you. There will be justice, if not in this life then the next. Karma! Babies, elderly and disabled can not defend themselves and when we can not. Karma will take it from there. They will suffer!

Black people in this country who are descendents of slavery have had to use forgiveness as a tool to survive in this country. Religion aside, forgiving our oppressors and even our killers has been something that's been ingrained in us in order to survive this country.

I’m always praying for my Husbands, Uncles, and Cousins. I’m always in prayer for my 3 yr old daughter and my unborn daughter whom will be born in a few weeks. This world is so full of hate and pure wickedness. The man was exercising minding his own business and not bothering anyone and then he was hunted and murdered for sport as if he’s an animal. This is completely horrific and utterly terrifying. He could’ve been anyone’s family member and now he’s gone because of evil mindless violence. 💔

I believe when people are tired enough, they do something to change a situation. I believe and have seen this! I was raised in an abusive family in Uganda, East Africa. However, when I turned 16 years old, I made up my mind that even though I was a Christian, I would not allow or tolerate anymore abuse. The last time my dad put his hands on my mother, I hit him so hard and demanded him to stop abusing us or else. After that encounter, my father changed. I don't know what would have happened to us if I didn't put an end to the abuse. So it is either them or me but I choose me. I'm done talking....sorry guys

Selena...You made me think of something when you talked about your son being on the Spectrum. You know how on the back of our license or state ID there is a code for vision, donor, etc?? Maybe there can be a code created for those on Spectrum because my nephew is also 14 and Spectrum and unable to communicate in a manner of coherence when he's under stress. He can follow directions, but with the way police communicate with Black males, he would not respond well to harsh commands warranting an immediate response. Because the children are minors and don't yet need an ID, maybe there can be some type of accessory that indicates their Spectrum status or even "disability" status, because police officers ALSO harass young Black males, even killing some of them as well, not knowing that person's neurological capabilities. You made me want to appeal to the Secretary of State of Illinois (Jesse White) for this idea and I hope others who see this will consider it as well. I know you're from here, but now in Georgia, so it's a thought. We need something symbolic to protect them from the volatility of mentally unstable officers and people with delayed neurological so ANY violators will be automatically legally reprimanded because laws DO protect disabled people. Especially if a violator knowingly perpetrated someone with one. Just a thought...Change starts with us...

Forgiveness isn’t for the other person but for yourself. It frees you of the hurt and pain. So forgiving is a most if you want healing. Theirs a huge misunderstanding of this concept. You can forgive a person and still want justice to run its course. I think they should receive the death penalty!
It is wrong to say that we cannot keep forgiving these people. Unforgiveness is another kind of mind slavery. We don't to hold grudges in our fragile heart. Not a good thing. These women should use their platform to promote forgiveness for better healing. Forgiveness always wins.

I agree with Lisa bcause my daughter was murdered n 1993 by a young man just coming from a strip club and just got a gun and was seeing how it work and start firing n a crowd of kids leaving a party. He only did 13 yrs and out. And now her twin bro has been murdered by PG Police for running cause he saw men with guns n black and was shot several times n the bac and he didnt get convicted at all cause hes a cop and was told my son has feared the ppl n the complex. Here's the sad part, even in jail someone will applaud them because there are people who see them as heroes for trying to protect their neighborhood. Furthermore, they were sent by the police to get them according to evidence which is why they were not arrested. Where they fucked up at (as far as the police goes) that is definitely obstruction on their part and they had no business having a former officer without a badge try to handle this situation in the first place. But I doubt they will get off. I just also doubt he will get Murder I.
