Yesterday I was reminded by Rickey Smiley who held a session from Birmingham, AL where he took us through the massacre in that state and how Black Wall Street was burned down and those people not only lost their businesses but their freedom as well. I am torn that thus country has not moved the needle toward equality. This is so devastating to the human psyche. I have shed so many tears for George Floyd and all of the black people who has lost their lives because of racism. I want justice and peace for all. This is what the constitution was built on, but we all know it’s only given peace and justice for those whose skin is not black or brown. This pains me so deeply that your president doesn’t care at all. This is a sad day to say that these United States are not equal for all people and only for those that have white skin. This nation was stolen from the Native Americans who have been sequestered to reservations to live on. What can any say about our so called founding fathers. They stole this land and monopolies for their convenience. I left this country when I was 18 years old because I could not take the emotional and mental abuse. I had hoped that in my later years I could see equality for all. That I suppose was my dream.. Everyone must vote in this next election to put a president in office who is for all people and not just those who stay silent and whitewash reality.

I live in Minneapolis, I live 7 minutes away from George Floyd was murdered, and the a couple blocks away from the police station the burned down in his name. I go to his memorial everyday, the way the community comes together each day to honor him is beautiful but Im tired yall... Im so tired of this shit, and Im so tired of being tired!

We are feeling the pain of our great grands and ancestors when they had to witness our counterparts be beatened and raped, lynched bodies and the smell of burnt flesh... it's the same damn pain. This is why we are tired but yet we still fight, its exhausting and we still have such a way to go.
