Jason shined a customer's Magnannis in the shoe shine stand. I thought they were amazing and unique so I went looking for those exact shoes. I will have those, I swear. I'm so glad i went looking. They have awesome styles, not too flashy for me but sharp. I got a different pair and I love them. The construction is Great too. They hold up wonderfully on 10000 steps a day at work. Very durable, minimal creasing.
I have three pairs of magnanni. For what they do they are probably some of the best. If you want that sleek, elegant look nobody does it better than them at that price range. As for blake stitch, 3 resoles is probably far past what many would need. The only thing I don''t like about them is that they tend to not have enough room in the toe box for me. For me magnanni is always a killer break in period.
Those chukkas are Goodyear welted? I have their Marcelo and Enzo boots and they have that same leather/mini lug sole combo. I don’t like it and I’d like to get them swapped eventually.
Hi Allen, would it be a way, to just Blake stitch the midsole to the upper and than let the midsole act as a welt? And stitch the outsole only to the midsole?
